1. Had a wonderful afternoon! In preparation for the next big fish fry and the crappie cooperated fully. Shallow strike on minnows and yellow/red beetle spin. Broke ...more in the new American Angler electric knife and I’m quite happy with it. Great day!!! Happy weekendπŸ˜πŸ‘πŸ»

  2. Looking for recommendations. My American angler ultra fillet knife is shot. It’s actually pretty dangerous now for me to fillet with it because the mechanism that ...more holds the blades in is worn out. It’s been a great knife and taken a lot of abuse. I can’t seem to find this model available anymore. Anyone have the new model? Looks much different. Looking for something with a very flexible Blade. Any advice is welcome! Mainly for panfish.

    1. Thanks Hans! I ended up getting another American Angler. Iits made in America and my last one lasted a decades and wore out before it broke. I’m still looking at ...more that battery operated Rapal though. Thank you for the feedback πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ˜Ž
    2. Yeah I love my portable battery-operated rapala electric knife. I charge it up the night b4 I go out crappie fishing and it has never died on me for an outing. I’ve ...more cleaned 25-30 Crappie/ bass/ walleye with it before and it kept going. My wife got me it for me for an anniversary gift and it may be one of the best gifts I ever received lol. I think she paid $80-$90 range for the one she got me. It’s been well worth the money.
    3. I really like the thinner blade. You are able to get much closer with less loss of meat. I was hoping someone owned the newer version of the American angler but ...more Rapala is getting great feedback. Thanks ChadπŸ‘πŸ»
    4. Chad M 0
I use the rapala one and have cleaned thousands of fish w/o an issue. with that said I could see the benefit of a more flexible blade. durability is good though, ...more never any issues.
    5. Good to know thank you Ray!!
    6. I have a Rapala , I have cleaned hundreds of walleye and panfish with it. It has been working great for years. If I was going to buy a new one I would go with Rapala
    7. The cheap ones have those thicker blades from what I remember. I’ll have to open one up at the store and check it out. thanks Buddy!
    8. Buddy Pierce 0
I would say the same a b. I use the cheap one at Walmart. I wear it out and throw it away
    9. Thanks B, I will check them out. Definitely need something that can take a lot of use LOL.
    10. b ripoer 0
I use one I bought at wal mart, does just fine and alot cheaper. But I do not clean alot of fish only use it on walleye.

Christopher Pereira, do pre-spawn and spawn. Songs it's warm out depending on what part of the country you're in. Here in Texas that warms up pretty quick. ...more How is using two different sized booyah frogs. For me they've been the best producers. Weedless ones. But everybody has their favorites. Cuz Wednesdays you can fit right into the host all the Salad and seaweed and everything. They're going to be close to shore so look for where it can drop off real quick like from 6 in of water to a foot and then all the sudden start going down from there. Stop putting it in like a bottom foot to foot of water and just bring it across sideways or fan it like the clock system. Castrate out here 12 then 1 and 2 and 3 all the way around. Once you get that back to 12 pick another location but like I said I also cast sideways to the shore and bring it straight down keeping it at about two feet of water.
    6. I don't think i've ever had a good day of fishing in the rain haha
    7. Nice catch! Rain always produces for me. πŸ‘πŸ»
