1. After waking up to hear of the passing of my Uncle in Georgia whom was batting mesothelioma and was really struggling to breath! I went out to fish for some Largemouth ...more with my friend Chet whom is battling Lung Cancer! He preceded to catch his biggest Colorado Largemouth around 6 lbs on a Weighted Tube! Then within an hour I landed a 4 lber on a 5” Senko! So balancing the emotions with the loss of my Uncle and my friend battling cancer it took a turn for a somewhat positive ending!

  2. Windy but good day!

    1. Thx Chris, the drought has really changed this lake and where the fish have been positioning! I did catch the fatter one in a typical location in a drop off next ...more to shore with a tree shading the area! Have caught any of the real nices yet.June is typically a slow month believe it or not due to later spawn times because of our fluctuating mid to late spring temps.
    2. nice pigs
    3. Thx guys!
    4. Rocky Mountain Hawgs!! Nice work Bryan
    5. Nice bass Bryan

    1. Noah Shapiro 0
      Oh I wish
    2. Bryan Harper 0
Thx guys! Noah I caught them on a Jerkbait but in the evening they were totally keying in the bugs at the surface. They might drain this lake for dam repairs and ...more their are reports of a few caught in the 25”-27” range.Come on over if you can and I’ll take you up there!
    3. Noah Shapiro 0
      Some more BS

    1. Bryan Harper 0
      Thx guys!
    2. Nice catch Mr.Harper what a big Ol hog.
    3. Rich Pardy 0
      Nice bass!!
    4. Bryan Harper 0
Thx guys! Nothing like the short compact girth of a Northern Strain Bass! This lake was an old city gravel pond in the 80’s that was stocked and has produced Bass ...more to 7-8 lbs but it’s highly pressured these days! Edward,I have caught a few Bass here Western Colorado with big heads but usually after the spawn which reduces the weight of course!
    5. Edward Payne 0
Massive head on that one! Holy moly!!!👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
    6. Jimbo Harwood 0

  9. Well I got out for around 3 hrs to fish for some Largies and hooked into my first hawg of the season! I landed this 5+ lber on a 5” Senko Style Worm using a Med-lite ...more St.Croix Rod along a lay down tree!

    1. Bryan Harper 0
Thx Rich and Ken! It definitely was worth it! 🎣
    2. Rich Pardy 0
      Another beauty!!
    3. Kenneth Olivo 0
Wow sounds like a good fight dude! That bass was deff worth it!
    4. Bryan Harper 0
Chris- It tried to get me snagged under the lay down tree so while I was bouncing around like a beach ball to keep her from getting snagged I got snagged real good ...more by a long thorn bush. One slice of my skin was over 6 inches but it was worth it!
    5. looks like a beach ball!
    6. Bryan Harper 0
Thx Ken! My first big one out of this city area lake!
    7. Kenneth Olivo 0
Wow that's a fat one nice Bryan!

      AMAZING VIEW!!! 👍👍👊
    2. Roger Parker 0
      Awesome pic!!
    3. Just let me know in advance. We can make it work.
    4. Bryan Harper 0
That’s amazing! I’ve seen a 17” dead Walleye with a 8”+ bluegill jammed in its mouth at one lake over here! I’ve seen the same thing with big bass having another ...more bass more than have their size jammed in there’s! There’s a slight chance I might make my way down your way within the next year? Family wants to go swim with the dolphins so might hit you for a day on the water??
    5. I had one eat a 12" rainbow in capote. Not much chance on a 4 weight and size 16 dry fly
    6. Bryan Harper 0
Morris I have a 7” Savage Gear Real Trout swimbait that also use for Pike Fishing!
    7. john stimson 0
      Great pic Bryan
    8. Bryan Harper 0
Thx guys! Morris I looked into it and maybe this summer? Might go camp down there then hit a few spots like there and Echo Canyon Res.? That’s where Jarrret Edwards ...more (Fishing TV Host) caught the state record which also has Rainbows in it!
    9. Nice!!! Hey Bryan, have you fished Capote lake outside of Pagosa Springs?? Huge bass there. 7-10 lbs. rainbow trout swim baits or big topwaters at daylight or dusk.
    10. Awesome pic Bryan! 👍👍👍
    11. Kenneth Olivo 0
Looks like bass heaven nice pic Bryan!
