  2. 1st day of vacation up here in Crozet, VA. I was teaching my step-son how to rig and throw a wacky rigged senko when on my very first cast I landed this 4lb 6oz ...more Largemouth. I think he was more excited than I was...here's to building lasting memories on the lake with family!

  3. Managed to bag 13 largemouth yesterday before the sun and temps really peaked - crazy hot but great day on the lake.

      Nice paul!
  4. A few more shots from Mattawoman. Fished it for the first time today. Didn't catch any Snakeheads but man, those Blue Catfish are relentless and will hit anything!

  5. A few catches from Burke Lake today...and my first ever Walleye catch!

    1. Paul S. 0
Thanks Robert! - Burke Lake has produced 2 first for me. My very first trip produced a big ole Muskie and on this trip my first Walleye. Not to shabby!

  6. KCF (Kayak Crappie Fishing) - Decided to take a day off yesterday from Bass fishing and try my luck at chasing Crappie. Have never Crappie fished before but turned ...more out to be a great trip!

Crappie fishing from the yak is a great time!! lol. 👊 Nice!!
  7. A few shots from Rocky Gorge Reservoir today. A baby turtle probably out for its first sun tan - the morning sunrise - and a Largemouth!

  8. This is a pic of me trying to brave the Chesapeake Bay last Sunday around 5:15am on my old FS12T. The waves didn't look that big from shore. I took this picture ...more right before a wave crashed over the front and filled the entire kayak with water. I barely made it in...lesson learned (the hard way).

    1. Paul S. 0
That's for sure Shawn...as the waves got bigger the boat kept getting smaller and smaller. Hell of an experience though!

Boats always shrink in the water! Glad you made it safely!

  9. Took the FS128T out on its maiden voyage on Clopper Lake yesterday and managed to catch more than a few. Great times! Now I have a list of tweaks and stuff I need ...more to change/add before taking it out next weekend. I may as well just give my pay checks to Bass Pro, West Marine, and Abu Garcia..would make the process a whole lot easier. Tight Lines!

f1zhn - I have never taken the yak out on the bay bass fishing. May try and launch at Smallwood State Park and fish the Mattawoman in the next week or so.
    2. Jimbo Harwood 0

Lmao. I hear ya on just giving them the pay check.. 😂😂
