    4. Jared Berkovsky 0
Nice bowfin. Yes Jon they are great fighters especially on spinning tackle.
    5. John Morgan 0
Yep, Lake Summerville here is full of them and they are fun.
    6. Shawn Gearinger 0
I caught one of those on a top water one time and I thought I had the lake record bass for a few seconds. Until I saw that ugly thing, LOL! They are a lot of fun ...more to catch. WTG!
    7. Ty Young 0
I'd have to say that they're pound for pound the hardest fighting fish I've ever caught Jon, extremely fun to catch and they definitely don't stop ...more fighting after you get them in the boat haha
    8. Jon Giacalone 0
Are they good fighters? I've seen them swimming around in the shallows, but never caught one.

  7. Hey Tim, a few buddies and I were thinking about making a trip over to Little Bay de Noc soon. How has the fishing been lately?

    1. Ty Young 0
No worries buddy, it's been the same story down here, that's why we're trying to find some hot spots no matter the distance lol I was also figuring that ...more ice fishing would be coming to an early end this year so if I get out there its gonna have to be soon!
    2. Tim Steinmetz 0
I will add that with all this incredibly hot weather the fishing should pick up soon. They are still in the normal mid-winter slump. Normally the last week or two ...more of safe ice is a good time, and it looks like that might be the next couple weeks this year.
    3. Tim Steinmetz 0
Ty, I'm not trying to discourage you, but fishing has been very bad lately. I haven't posted a catch on here for weeks, and it's not for lack of trying. ...more They just aren't biting right now. I fished three times after work this week, and I only caught one fish.
