  3. Haven't posted any of my work in a while, so I decided to tackle a jig. It's made on my custom jig head. I tied on some crystal flash and put on two extra ...more feathers. The worm is a 4in white powerbait trout worm (I added the pink tip). Let me know what you guys think!. Targeted species will probably be crappies and larger trout.

  4. Hey guys this was on my local news today and I found it to be a very concerning and interesting. Comment your thoughts on this below I'm interested in what you ...more guys think about this!

    1. Steve Toth 0
      There are concerns since this is the first report of cancer within a fish they are unaware of the effects if it is consumed. It is now strictly catch and release ...more in this part of the river. @TennesseeTroutboy
    2. TennesseeTroutboy 0
      Is there concerns with eating the fish?

  5. Made an olive colored dry fly because I noticed an increase of rising trout , any tips on how to dry these flies so they float again after you catch a fish?

    1. Steve Toth 0
      @King_Fisher thanks.
    2. King_Fisher 0
      Also when dry fly fishing its soooo important to make sure you get the float perfect or you'll get a lot of turn downs so just make sure your mending your line ...more well.
    3. King_Fisher 0
      I agree with @WayneF8 I prefer the gel floatant over the powder but I dry the fly out on my shirt and give it a good squeeze and than add the floatant.
    4. Wayne Figg 0
      Buy some fly floatant. I prefer the gel over the powder

    1. Steve Toth 0
      Ya*
    2. Steve Toth 0

  7. Purchased three more spinners today because my second one up from the bottom got demolished the first day of trout. It might be hard to see in the pic but the paints ...more chipped and its dented with bent hooks.. That means it was a good day!

    1. NYbigbucks 0
      Hey just created my fishing scout account
    2. Conner Mahan 0
      Repaint it with nail polish and cut the hook off use a split ring and put a new hook on and u can make those last forever

    1. Steve Toth 0
      @Seislove this was a cold water stream not river or reservoir. Special place in the mountains.
    2. Steve Toth 0
      @Seislove sure did
    3. Steve Toth 0

      That's awesome man good luck on getting that record and maybe I'll get lucky with a 7 pounder.. But I doubt it because they are extremely rare here the bigger ...more ones average 4-5 pounds.
    5. TennesseeTroutboy 0
      Well that one right there would be a state record in TN I almost broke it a couple weeks ago
    6. Steve Toth 0
      @TennesseeTroutboy the state record is 7lbs. I couldn't imagine landing a Brookie that big, because this one fought like crazy. Very strong fish.
    7. TennesseeTroutboy 0
