1. Details: Red (redfish) Drum

Hunting for feeding reds. Day was overcast and helped produce our limit. This gal had a really pretty color to her.

  2. Details: White Marlin

#contest2015 This year I was so focused on work that I barely got to fish but this White Marlin for sure was my best catch of the year. I was particularly happy ...more with this fish because we almost didn't go out due to 8-12 foot swells. Out of the spread I got to rig this setup which was on a little reel and light rod. Sure enough it got crushed. Watching the acrobatics was spectacular.

  3. Details: Sheepshead

Sheep were thick today. Caught 6 real quick about this size.

Thanks @Jungleexplorer They were crushing anything you through at them. Going back this weekend to see if they are still there
  4. Details: Black Drum

Fought this big ugly on light tackle. Reel broke, let the fish run while I fixed it. Got back to fighting this guy and then my rod broke!! Still landed though. Nice ...more battle

  5. Details: White Marlin

First Marlin caught. While this was an epic battle I was sad to see that the captain would not release this fish so he could feed his family. Prayed to the man upstairs ...more for the experience and thanked this beautiful animal. It was a bit over 6 feet. We were trolling ballyhoo around big weed patches. This fish hit the only rod in the spread with a tiny reel.

  6. Details: Red (redfish) Drum with a Mud minnow under a cork

Falling tide. Cruising the shore line throwing plastics and saw some reds feeding on bait fish. Wouldn't touch the swim bait so had to throw a minnow under a ...more cork. Slammed it. Fenwick 7 1/2 foot with a shimano stradic 2500 with 30 lbs braid and 15 lbs fluorocarbon leader. Trokar hook- man are they sharp. 27 inch 9 1/2 lbs red.

Thanks @TheREELdeal @jurssica @Reel_Smooth It was the only good fish for the day- the bitting gnats were the worst I've ever experienced. It was crazy.

Sounds amazing. Those ate the best places to fish... The ones you have to work for cause they are hardly ever fished.
    3. Jeff Goldberg 0
Next time we go back there is a lake called Gilmore lake that you can only get to by hiking. It's was stocked a long time ago with several species of trout. ...more Bass too. It's a hike but beautiful @Reel_Smooth
