      I changed to Guadalupe River, and it would be nice to have some lake trout on Canyon Lake, unfortunately is not sustainable.

      Nice catch. BTW you should log this as being caught on the Guadalupe in Comal County, since trout aren't in Canyon Lake.

  4. Had two bass on the 2 # range on a green and red jerking shad by the rocks south of the dam. Water was clear on the 50s F, cloudy and sun was getting down. If you ...more don't have a boat there is easy access by the park south of the dam, just be careful on the hike down towards the water. Park closes at 6:00 pm.
