    Ive been shark fishing with big 14 inch cut mullet since I havent been able to get my hands on the blues and jack. Ive only been catching little nurse sharks on ...more the bigger mullet.what would you do to get better chances to hook onto a bigger shark and how far would you deploy the bait? i have been deploying the big mullet out a far distance and havent caught nothing only close in catching nurseshar

      try going to a local marina and see if you could get some carcasses after they get done cleaning em , try different spots , fish multiple rods at different distances ...more eventually you'll get picked up.

      Chunk baits and crawfish are always a good choice but if your getting into low visibility water try a bait that will give of some vibrations like a paddle tail.

      They are not a gamefish in Texas, so they are legal here. Check your local regs, but I think you can. As for if they are good? I have never used them, but they are ...more shiny and made of meat, so sharks
