@raoul got a nice channel that I blackened grilled on the salt block and served on cayenne rice delicious then I got a red horse (great bait) for a later day

Went out with my dad struck out on catfish but threw a worm for fun and pulled a Little Rock bass nothing special but not skunked

Only fish of the new night but we had an awesome overnighter on the river bonfire, beer and great friends you can't ask for much more length put it at 12.5lbs ...more but he was skinny and old looked more like 10lbs to me

Went out with the dog today got some sunnies and a small painted turtle hook grabbed the shell not the turtle safely released

Hit the river with my uncle before he goes back to CO targeting mostly smallmouth in our little honey hole didn't hit any bass but missed 3 runs on my catfish ...more rig and got a catfish on my bass rig lol not what I would expect fishing with a leech but I'll take it cooked it up and it was delicious

Killed it this weekend at my aunts cabin new PB for me just shy of 35" and they all said it was the largest they've seen come out of this lake (Dunn lake ...more WI) but I got really lucky I had my rig setup for throwing so I was jigging using a Shakespeare with 3 y.o stock line and no leader really had to finesse this hog in
