1. using a fluke, water was glass and all the bass were on beds or in pre spawn still. lots of them in the fallen trees or rocks for cover. all I had to do was plop ...more the fluke in there and then there was a fish.

  3. Hello everyone I love to fish on lake austin but over the past couple of years the fishing there has gotten very slow, especially the bass fishing. there used to ...more be a time where I could go down to my neighborhood dock and catch at least 6 fish a day. now it's hard to even get one bass. I caught the bass in the pic above a week ago. I was fishing all over the place for 5 hours (from 6 am to 11 am)

with me. so hopefully one day lake austin can be enjoyed as great fishing lake agian. #killthecarp
    2. tmoonatx 0
therefore the bass have no where to hide, have cover ,spawn etc... so I am asking all fellow lake austin anglers to try to kill of the buggers. the carp need to ...more go. and I'm sure a lot of people agree
    3. tmoonatx 0
I only got that one bass that day thankfully he was nice and healthy. I blame the decrease in bass on lake austin on the carp... the carp have completely wiped out ...more all of the vegatation on the lake.

Any info? Conditions, water clarity, air temps, etc? Wanna be able to mimic those conditions and maybe get a biggun' like that! You'll get more creds with ...more more info.
