Hello everyone I love to fish on lake austin but over the past couple of years the fishing there has gotten very slow, especially the bass fishing. there used to ...more be a time where I could go down to my neighborhood dock and catch at least 6 fish a day. now it's hard to even get one bass. I caught the bass in the pic above a week ago. I was fishing all over the place for 5 hours (from 6 am to 11 am)

we were in shallow water, about 8 inches. we were sight casting on grass patches and nailing reds. in the 3 hours we were out there we caught 17 redfish and 2 trout.
