    Was able to catch a few stonecats and after a slow start finished the day with around 15. This one being the biggest at 18"

      Yea what @ChrisA said its a small species of catfish that only grows to about 6 inches and lives under rocks it's entire life and when smallies see them out ...more of the rocks they go crazy @fishin_man

      @fishin_man it's a small catfish that usually hides under stones in streams and rivers. They are great smallmouth and walleye bait.

    Details: Brown Trout with a Scud

    Got some recent rain that brought the water temp down which means time to fish for some shy fish. Stream is full off these size 14-20 scuds.

      That's no fun. I got about 25 today, sun came out it helped the trout see where the bait was. But at least you got some!

      No it was a slow day as soon as the sun warmed the water the fish stopped feeding I ended up with 4 rainbows @Mason_Cizek

    Fighting a decent rainbow that I hooked in an amazing mountain stream. It was a good camping trip.
