1. Details: Largemouth Bass

Just bounced it of the bottom. Blind casting because there is no visible structure to target except for one small point. Pulled a couple others that were only about ...more a half pound and wrapped up with this guy. Shoreline is too deep to see any beds but I was able to barely spot two small bass sitting right off the shore. Only my second time fishing this pond but it was stocked about 3 years ago.

      nice bass!
  2. Details: Red (redfish) Drum with a Custom painted skitterwalk working it like a ticking clock, nice and steady no stops. Light south winds, low pressure, clear water. 3 weeks ...more ago and the school hasn't been back to that spot.

Had a big school crushing a TON of shrimp so I tied on a topwater to make those reds angry enough to hit. As you can see it worked well and I was able to compete ...more with the massive amount of bait in that grass. Worked it slow and steady to annoy those reds. Caught 5 but only kept 2 because I had to work that night and didn't want to clean another!

  3. Details: Spotted (Speckled) Trout with a Birds, birds, and more birds. Gulp swimmin mullet chartreuse dead sticking on bottom, but they preferred tops (see description below). ...more I got spanked on the water. None smaller than 19" both mine @ 20"

Got out fished so bad last weekend. I worked gulp in the whole water column just to find out they wanted it set on the bottom not moving. My buddy threw skitterwalks ...more and had 7 trout and 3 reds by 11:30. My wrist was jacked and it was bad enough just paddling so I strayed away from top waters but I definitely should have just sucked it up. Working one group of birds for hHours

It's Fins brand braid in their "Windtamer" and no it doesn't glow if that's what your asking. It's just a high visibility pink color. @fish0n11

  6. Details: Largemouth Bass with a White spinner with a stinger hook medium retrieve on a Waterloo salinity spooled with 30lb fins windtamer and a daiwa coastal.

Hit one if my ponds and double hooked this little guy. Solver hook in the cheek and the black stinger in the lip. He wasn't going anywhere. So glad I broke my ...more "no keeper skunk" I had going on!

  7. Details: Hardhead Catfish with a Maniac mullet fast sink chartreuse

Here's another pic of the baby (what I think is a hardhead) kinda cool cause I've never experienced fish spitting up eggs down here like this thing did. ...more Just one after another after another.

It was definitely an interesting experience too @ReelGame

Okay so it was a small male most likely mouthbrooding for a larger female. I've seen 5lb bass mate with dinky males so I can see this happening in salt too. ...more Explains the size of eggs to size of fish.
    4. paul paul 0
Hmm. Maybe I shoulda rounded them up and tried to store them @GunnerNewberry although i really don't care to handle gaftop. I haven't researched yet but ...more I think this lil guy was hungry not pregnant

  8. Details: Hardhead Catfish with a Maniac mullet fast sink chartreuse

Down at the pier all we got was one keeper flounder that I dropped through the slats during the photo op. But @troutmaster12 pulls up an 8" hard head that spit ...more out about 20 eggs. Not sure if she was big enough to actually spawn or had just raided another fishes bed cause these things were the size of my pinky nail. Yes 20 out of an 8" fish

Virtually shark free compared to seabrook flats. I don't wade over there.
    7. paul paul 0
I have yet to see one while I've been out but they're caught down another mile at the spillway. So yes there are shark. But not very many. You'd be lucky ...more to see one. Once a month maybe one gets caught
    8. Texas_Slam 0
Not to fish for but to look out for
    9. Texas_Slam 0
      Any sharks over there??

  10. Details: Largemouth Bass with a h2o squarebill crank 3-5ft

Two slow cranking the trees. Mid day slow cranking, or working worms deep and slow or pitching the shade is key to the bite. Noon = deep fish (at least most of the ...more time) and they usually want it presented at a crawl. Weightless worms will kill too. I'll give it maybe another hour or so.
