  4. Details: Gulf Flounder with a Strawberry Psycho shad Chickenboy on a 1/4 oz red Rockport Rattler with 3 feet of 30# Seaguar Blue Label flouro

Caught this flattie the Saturday before last working the edge of a flat where it meets a channel. Crawling the CB on the bottom with a few pauses in the retrieve ...more every 7 seconds or so. Slight north wind. Air temp was mid 60s. Low tide. Water was extremely clear as was the sky. Ended up with a limit of flounder and trout with 1 bonus red, all on arties.

  5. Details: Inshore Slam (trout/flounder/redfish) with a Many Chickenboys and Salt n Pepper Lil Johns on 1/4 jig head. Mainly Rockport Rattlers

Past couple weekend have been on fire. This was just my stringer from Saturday. All 5 of my trout were 18"+ and the flounder were 20". All of us slammed ...more and limited on trout. Working the strawberry/white CB's with Butt Juice Pro Cure low and slow produced the flatties and a couple trout. Lil Johns caught the rest of the trout and a bonus red. Sunny skies, very light north wind, falling tide.

    1. YAK_Addiction 0
Thanks! The area i have been fishing do happens to be an area of dredging out the channel
    2. Conley Foeh 0
Just work the edge of a channel and you should stick a few
    3. Conley Foeh 0
Yea. That's a good paddle. You gotta be patient to catch flounder here in corpus. Strawberry/white psycho CBs on a Rockport rattler while crawling the bottom ...more is what has been producing. @YAK_Addiction
    4. YAK_Addiction 0
Don't get me wrong there are flounder but hard to travel to locations on a kayak here. Traveled 14 miles round trip on Saturday
    5. YAK_Addiction 0
I've caught red and trout these past two wknds and have seen only one flounder. Couldn't get her to commit though. Do t
    6. Conley Foeh 0
It's pretty common at this place if you have clear skies. We had 3 slams that day and I had another last Saturday @YAK_Addiction
    7. YAK_Addiction 0
Nice slam! I've been working hard to catch one but very tough, good work.
    8. Conley Foeh 0
Ahh. Y'all have to fish over there. Good luck man @MagicYaker
    9. Oh no we are launching from lighthouse lakes or brown and root area.
    10. Conley Foeh 0
Or you could fish by the pin I have here. Not sure how long of a paddle it would take to get there though
    11. Conley Foeh 0
You might wanna try the humble channel for flounder and Packery for reds @MagicYaker
    12. Nice I'll be down there for a veteran tourney in the 22nd. Port a area.

Went out to the Rob and Besse park after a good rain on Saturday. I eventually landed one which is my first gar on the fly and even caught a surprise bass. Very relaxing afternoon by myself. Low pressure, 15-20 MPH north wind, very cloudy. Used a 4.0 8wt...

Went on the Scatcat with Outdoor Texas Camps looking for kings. Ended up catching a possible state record smack that I gave away (not knowing the current record ...more which is only 8.74#s). Oh well, I'll try to break it again 😉 Overall the camp week was awesome, we caught over 41 species of fish throughout the 5 days. Weather and water cooperated 95% of the time. 5. tristan delaney 0
It's actually a king. You can tell by the lateral line. Kings have more of a dip in the lateral line than spanish. Still a nice catch. Those juvenile kings can ...more fool you with those spots.
