1. Casted my spook into the middle of the lake and fished slow, hit about 30ft off the bank. We think it was at least 5+. We saw lots of bass hitting topwater and a ...more few bass still bedding. I caught two on beds earlier in the day using a white jig. Cloudy weather and dirty water.

  3. We caught 2 fish and missed a few others on the shellcracker. Including a 6+ that @colek lost. This one was caught dead sticking very slowly in the middle of the ...more canal. The weather was cloudy and the water was stained because of rain the day before. Temperature was in the upper 70's.

  10. Just ordered this a week ago. What are your tips for using it if you have gotten it and how you like to fish it? What line, reel, and rod do you use when using it?

Largemouth Bass with a Spro BBZ 6" 2.25 Oz Slow Sink

    1. eastonsutley 0
This is the only color I own and it gets bit.
    2. whitebass_81 0
      Sorry blue herring
    3. whitebass_81 0
I have trout and I've had the shad and green herring. I've just heard good things about the perch color
    4. saylor_cline 0
Yeah I'm not to good with my baitcasters yet so that makes me scared. Do you have all the colors? @whitebass_81
    5. whitebass_81 0
    6. whitebass_81 0
They like the shad too but wicked perch is also really good. Braid works too but if to get a backlash while casting you're screwed because there is no stretch ...more and it'll just snap
    7. saylor_cline 0
I was wondering if I should have gotten a different color. If I get another it will probably be the blue herring
    8. saylor_cline 0
Yeah I have a 7'6 Heavy rod and I am using braid but might switch. @whitebass_81 @eastonsutley
    9. whitebass_81 0
I've had the best luck on herring color though
    10. whitebass_81 0
In awhile so that the followers will grab it
    11. whitebass_81 0
A medium heavy rod works but heavy is better and fluoro for swimbaits in general. Slow roll it but don't let it hit bottom because it'll snag easy. If you ...more are fishing it fast, let it pause every once
    12. eastonsutley 0
      Heavy rod and 20# mono
    13. eastonsutley 0
Crawl it really slow. I like the floater the best
    14. Alec Morrison 0
One of the best ways is to also creep it along and if you feel like there's one following it just stop it for three sec then give it one big jerk and stop it ...more again and that should trigger them
    15. Alec Morrison 0
It truly depends on the mood of the fish , yes they like it slow but if your just getting follower after follower and barely any hits , I like to burn it realllllyy ...more fast then just completely stop it.
    16. willgrunau 0
      Fish slowwwwwww
