    Possibly the best day of fishing I've ever had. Late afternoon fishing with temps around 87 degrees. Such a rush to see that 5lb bass come up and take the top ...more water frog, rhythm was twitch across the water then pause for 2secs, targeted low hanging trees and shade. For the 20+ pound blue catfish I used a hotdog on bottom, fought for 10mins using 12lb test & when finally landed, line was frayed.

    Details: Blue Catfish with a Havoc craw, Texas rigged, 4/0 hook, 1/8 bullet weight.

    Same catfish I've caught in the same pond in my most recent catfish blert using the mozzarella cheese as bait. The catfish surprisingly got a lot bigger, and ...more put up a much bigger fight. Sight casted in the shallows with shade, letting craw bounce off bottom with a 2 sec pause between each bounce.

    Details: Channel Catfish with a Hotdog on a small treble hook

    Humid Friday night with nothin to do so my buddies and I snuck on to a golf course and tried our luck. Nothing huge but a good night.

    Sunny yet windy all day, temp around 85 degrees, water clarity poor ,1 FOW due to all the recent rain. Saw the cat on the bank of the pond, so I sight casted it ...more and then it was on. Great fight on the ultralight.

    Overcast day around 65 degrees went and tried a small San Antonio pond for about 30mins and pulled out this little 3 pounder or so and a buddy of mine pulled out ...more a nice 15 pounder, will return to this area.
