    My buddies and I decided to go out in our kayaks to search for some fish. Hoping to see pogy pods and tarpon and jacks we ended up only seeing these huge schools ...more of jacks. Once the lure hit the school you immediately had one on. By far one of the most fun types of fishing I've ever done.

    Big bass right at dusk the other day. Hit my popper like a smaller fish but then started peeling drag. No scale on me but I got the measurements at 27in long and17in ...more girth. Definitely a good way to end the day

    Sight fishing for these monsters is one of my favorite types of fishing. During midday when the sun is out and little to no wind is the best time for visibility. ...more They usually travel in packs of 2-8. I have also seen a monster pack of about 20 sheepshead go by me in this pond. An occasional big redfish as well.

    Pretty uneventful for my keys trip. Went with some buddies and had some great bait for sharks but there was so much sargasso grass in the water that it would cover ...more your line, leader, and bait. Hard to catch fish in those conditions.

    My first ever bowfin I believe. Was bass fishing in some local ponds and all of a sudden I saw him come right up to the bank. Thought it was a catfish at first but ...more I reeled in and worked my worm in front of him. He turned towards it and ate it. He still sat there and didn't move. I finally set the hook and got him on. Before I went to pick it up I saw it was a bowfin and made sure not to lip him😂
