  4. Details: Golden Rainbow Trout with a Silver spinner

    On vacation in Colorado right now. First time trout fishing. I'm hooked. ...get it?

  5. Pretty crazy night with @jas_atx. Both caught plenty of largemouth, and both ended the night with a couple of big (for us) stripers. This one went 11.8 lbs. biggest ...more fish I've ever caught! Super fun to get pulled around on the kayak by him.

    5. Bo_Wiltshire 0

  6. Fun night on the bird. Was nice to have consistent action, something this summer has been hard to come by for me. This guy was 4# even. Landed a couple smaller and ...more lost one big one (the ones you lose are always bigger). Working the wacky slowly in between the rocks.

  7. New pb tonight! Almost didn't go down there, but @jas_atx convinced me to. Glad we went! 8# even. Slowly running the swimbait parallel to the shore. Swam straight ...more at me after it hit so I didn't know how big it was until it got right next to me.

    12. nobama 0
      Nice one. I guess I won't get any invites from you until I get a kayak? Bank fishing is for those poor people.

    So much room on this thing! Can't wait to spend more time on it

    1. plugger 0
      You could put a barbecue on that thing. You might need to get a captains license.
    2. nathantrafford 0
      @j_reyes it's an Ascend FS128T. Bass pro shop brand

    5. texasfisher8 0
      @nathantrafford okay well thanks for gvong me some information on the yak....keep posting the pics thanks!
    6. nathantrafford 0
      @texasfisher8 700 for kayak, 60 for paddle. 100 for roofrack,
    7. texasfisher8 0
      @nathantrafford
    8. texasfisher8 0
      Okay so how much was everything with the paddle and everything if you don't mind me asking. Did you buy an extra addons
    9. nathantrafford 0
      @texasfisher8 this is mainly going to be used on lakes and rivers. I'd highly recommend this kayak!
    10. texasfisher8 0
      @nathantrafford
    11. texasfisher8 0
      Yea I have been wanting to buy that yak....will you be doing any inshore fishing with it?
    12. nathantrafford 0
      You def need a longer paddle since you're sitting so much higher, but once you get used to the way it moves, you can get around pretty well
    13. nathantrafford 0
      @texasfisher8 I loved it. Yes it's big and heavy and not the most nimble, but if you solely want to use it for fishing, then it can't be beat right now for ...more all around value.
    14. texasfisher8 0
      How do you like the yak....I'm thinking of buying that one. I hear it was hard to paddle and get going because it is so big

    First trip out. Didn't catch anything, but didn't fish much. Overall I love it. It's so stable. It's pretty dang windy today, but I was still able ...more to stand comfortably, even when perp. to the wind.

    1. plugger 0
      That thing is sick. Congrats.
    2. nathantrafford 0
      @TreyPrey are you doing anything else to yours? I've been looking at a ton of stuff to do to it online
    3. nathantrafford 0
      @TreyPrey awesome man! I'm pretty stoked about it. First thing I did when I got home with it was resell the hatches
    4. Trey Trey 0
      Just got the same yak a couple weeks ago and I'm already ten fish deep on it and lovin it. Thing tracks and rides like a dream. Need to re-seal the compartments ...more on it and secure seat but that's it
    5. nathantrafford 0
      @charles113 yup. But like @Kev1107 said, it's tough. Gets to 50ft deep on the one side. You also have to buy a fishing membership, and you really have to yak ...more fish to get anywhere
    6. charles113 0
      Any good fish there
    7. Kev1107 0
      I've heard that place is tough. Saw recent video that showed some decent fish in there. Rock bottom and clear- id go finesse.
    8. nathantrafford 0
      @charles113 quarries lake up north.
    9. charles113 0

    So I bought a kayak today. Pretty fricken stoked about it.

    1. nathantrafford 0
      With no cart or anything.
    2. nathantrafford 0
      @Kev1107 it's a pain in the rear to get it on the roof. Weighs 90lbs or so. That being said, it too me 15 mins to get it up and strapped down on my own with
    3. nathantrafford 0
      @matfeo yup
    4. matthew johnson 0
      Is that the one from bass pro
    5. Kev1107 0
      Just out of curiosity, is something like that lift enough to get on a roof?
    6. Kev1107 0
      That's a beautiful set-up- looks a personal Jon boat
    7. Joey Russell 0
