Landed 17 fish ice fishing yesterday...only got pics of 5 different ones. Nice size with a fat 15-16" being the average throughout the day. Subtle jigging seemed ...more to work better with smaller jigs being the best. Biggest fish in the group was only 20" but a few other 18" were caught.

A low pressure system must have had the fish in an aggressive mood. Caught over a dozen fish yesterday but only have pictures of 6...here are then ones from ice ...more fishing yesterday including a brook, a Brown, and rainbow trout. All fish were caught on various jigs with chartereuce being the best color. The best action happened in about 6-7' of water and the last hour right before dark.

One of the most colorful trout I have caught in a long time. The fishing was tough but I did manage 10 over the course of the day. This fish was caught on Nov. 26 ...more for the record @TennesseeTroutboy didn't get an exacted measurement but this fish made a nice run downstream before I was able to get it in the net. Great day on the water with cool temps in the mid 30s but that kept the crowds away.

Cold temperatures with a high of only 15 kept the crowds away. I was able to sight fish this beauty in the 2.5 feet of water and right after hooking it, the fish ...more jumped and started to run downstream but I was able to get it into the net just as the hook popped out. Great day overall despite the freezing temps but this was the slab of the day

A great combo that makes it hard to determine which object is more beautiful. Love my nomad net it tailwater brown and use it just for that...catching Browns that ...more will push the net to its maximum capacity. This brown definitely had a large portion of the net filled. Great day fishing and sunny skies allowed for some great sight fishing and photos.

Sight fishing fall brows is so much fun. Using a 3 fly rig you never know what the fish will take since all 3 flies were producing fish as long as the drift was ...more in the right line and looked natural of course. In this case however, this fish took the smallest fly of the three a sizer 20 thread midge that I tied the night before. Always an added bonus when you catch a fish on a fly you tied!
