  5. Details: Yellow Perch with a worm i found under a rock after I got desperate.

caught one little largemouth in about two hours working spinners and jigs. I got desperate and picked up a rock and threw on a worm, started catching them every ...more cast. Caught about six on one worm.

    1. Bruce Sachtleben 0
I feel your pain, my whole summer has been like that. sometimes you just got to get back to basics and I've caught more fish on night crawlers than any other ...more bait.
    2. michaelstickel 0
      That's right man! @WildBill3
    3. William Wilson III 0
      nutin, beats live bait
    4. michaelstickel 0
Lol yeah I wasn't getting any action until I switched to the live worm. Then they went crazy and I couldn't keep them off the hook!

  6. Details: Flathead Catfish with a none

Found this on the pile of rocks I waded out to this morning. If you're not gonna take a fish home and eat it just release it. Not too hard. Smells like shit...

    1. Richard Shadler 0
I release 98% of all my catches, I find myself lucky to be able to fish for these creatures who have more right to be here then us! If it wasn't for them we ...more wouldn't be here! Something to consider!
    2. Richard Shadler 0
I think it's poor taste as a angler, just to drop it on the rocks like that! How indecent! To the fish and to other fisherman alike! It might not belong there ...more but show some respect for all please!!
    3. Sean Neifert 0
I also fish the Susquehanna 4-5 days a week for flatheads. They are no longer a catch and kill fish!!! They removed it this year, they said the fish are here to ...more stay! So enjoy some catch and release!
    4. FearTheBeard 0
The catfish can deal with these stressful situations of pollution and lack of oxygenation WAY better then bass. I've thrown back my share of bass with ugly lesions. ...more Also finding male bass with eggs :/
    5. FearTheBeard 0
@bassman7 The pollution put into that body of water is astronomical between local sewer authorities dumping "hot loads" and poor management of drilling ...more companies. See part 2

      @FearTheBeard
    7. Scott Myers 0
Whats your worries with the Susquehanna?
    8. FearTheBeard 0
@bassman7 My point was they aren't new to the state just our river basins. At one point they had a no release policy albeit it is no longer that way. Ive bigger ...more worries for the susky then some cats!
    9. Scott Myers 0
I have never fished/killed flathead from the Delaware river I fish the Susquehanna river where they are invasive @FearTheBeard
    10. FearTheBeard 0
@bassman7 Flatheads are actually native to western PA and have just been found in the eastern PA river basins as early as 1997 @ Blue Marsh. They pose no major threat ...more and arent to be killed 4 invasive
    11. DYLANUK PUNK FISHING 0
Assholes :-/ stop killing fish, fuck! Why is every fish "invasive" all of a sudden? It's annoying! They have all been here for years, Why do Americans ...more always have to kill things!? catch and enjoy!!!!
    12. michaelstickel 0
      I agree man @hunterT
    13. hunter Torres 0
Flathead catfish r native to the southern and Easter US they don't hurt anything a blue or a channel catty would hurt
    14. Scott Myers 0
No not that I know of. Your suppose to kill them they kill other species of fish. I fish the Susquehanna river often and you see them on the rocks all the time @whitebass_05
    15. whitebass_81 0
      They're not native? @bassman7
    16. michaelstickel 0

    18. Scott Myers 0
Legally your used to kill them they are an invasive species. Where on the Delaware did you see it?
    19. whitebass_81 0
(Not to watch but to release it... That would be sick)
    20. whitebass_81 0
(Not to like watch but release it... That would be sick
    21. whitebass_81 0
Oh, thats sad then. I wish i was there to see those idiots do it @michaelstickel
    22. michaelstickel 0
The water was just a puddle from the rain
    23. michaelstickel 0
He wasn't really that close to the water and in a weird spot so I assumed someone just left him there. But you're right coulda been anything I guess. Either ...more way still nasty lol. @whitebass_05
    24. whitebass_81 0

Nice hard fighter. He took a few leaps out of the water and made a few hard dives at the bottom.

  8. Details: Bluegill Sunfish with a green rooster tail

Does anyone know what kinda sunny this is? He was huge! (although its hard to tell from the pic)

    1. michaelstickel 0
Yeah I think so too it was a lightly colored one. Pretty cool. @bassinboy01
    2. Jacob Breaux 0
      I'd say bluegill as well
    3. michaelstickel 0
Sorry I meant to say much darker than this one but it could just be it had a lighter color but I've never caught a bluegill in the Delaware just redbreasts.
    4. michaelstickel 0
Blue gills are much more blue, this is like a green sunfish and a redbreast hybrid maybe.
    5. nick vojtek 0
      Yeah looks like a bluegill
    6. caleb12 0

    1. Sean Wilms 0
ya, thats a cool looking fish, it might just be a very colorful one with a big mouth but it looks like a hybrid to me, weird stuff happens while fishing sometime
    2. michaelstickel 0
Yeah man. I never really noticed because i think they are all like this where I'm at. Strange things do come out of the Delaware River sometimes tho lol. @seaturtles
    3. Sean Wilms 0
wow, i think that is a hybrid! looks like a cross between a green sunfish and redbreasted sunfish, thats cool
    4. Calvin Fease 0
Don't see many redbreasts around me.
