    I caught this one in the rocks right up near the bank. Sunny calm conditions 75 degrees midday. Nice healthy fish at just over 2 pounds.

    I only caught one tonight but it was a decent fish at 3.5 lbs. I was just bouncing the jig off the bottom near the bank.

      Yeah I've heard that about City View too but only fished it once with no luck. Also when I find neighborhood ponds I can't ever figure out where to park ...more lol

      Also heard City View at Bryant Irvin and I-20 right by Costco is good but never fished it myself.

      @b5ross Just pull up google maps and locate a few and then go fish. Many of them don't see much pressure so the bite is good and the fish are healthy.

      I've never fished that park so I'll have to give it a try. My kid practices over there so it will be easy.

      @b5ross I typically just fish the neighborhood ponds around my area. Behind the college at Marine Creek can be productive at times too.

    Cool morning and slow bite but managed 6 at three different locations. This was the largest at 3 pounds.

    8 fish caught this morning. Most were very small with this one being the only decent fish. It weighed right at 2 pounds.

    Caught 5 this morning with this being the biggest at 16 inches long and just over 2 lbs. 4 of the 5 were at least 12 inches

    This chunk hit it hard just a few feet off the bank. I didn't have a scale with me but it was right at 18 inches long. I'm guessing it was between 2 and ...more 3 pounds somewhere. It was the biggest of 5 fish caught in the hour before dark.
