1. I have always fish with a spinning reel and I'm really successful. It's time for me to try something new so I figure why not a baitcaster they seem hard ...more to use but a lot of my friends use one and say there so much better. Advice needed

The thing about getting a cheaper one, is that your going to want to upgrade quick. @TheREELdeal so i say spend the extra cash for a good one. If not you could always ...more sell or trade it really quick.

It really all comes down to personal preference, and what feels good in your hand. But i would say dont start off to cheap, cause you know how it goes, you get what ...more you pay for. I personally am a big

I would suggest an h20 xpress mettle from academy. Cheap reel that performs better than most twice its price
