1. Forgot to post the other day. Went and waded the surf with my Dad and @kbarton51 before he had to ship out for school. Ended the day with 25 keeper specks, two keeper ...more flounder, two cownose we kept for shark bait, and two big lady fish we also kept for bait. Caught 40+ specks total. They were everywhere and they were hungry, caught on plastics in any color or shape we threw at them. (next comment..

Also caught a few on a spook early in the morning. We had to work for them, got out there at sunrise and waded about 8 hrs. Steady incoming tide most of the day, ...more sunny, no wind at all.

Needless to say I went to Verizon the next morning and got a new phone b/c of it.). This one went 5.66 on the scale. Ripping a s.j. over a flat. Sunny and 80 all day with a slight s wind. Water slightly stained, not bad.

Finally got on the water around 3:30pm after my truck broke down in Sealy at 5:30 in the morning, missed most of the day but still managed to catch around 30 myself ...more with this 5.18. Easily broke 100 with @BigChance56 @glen007 and @skip_and_pitch. Slight s wind, water clearing up some, sunny and 60* by the time I got out there, froze while I was stranded on the side of i10. lol

  7. Details: Spotted (Speckled) Trout with a Mirrolure Mirrodine

Forgot to post from the other day. @glen007 @re_Bekah and myself went out in the bay and got a few specks. Took us a while to find them but we found a few. Green ...more water, 5mph s wind, incoming tide, sunny, mid to high 70's, water temp around 70, got most of them just slowly twitching a mirrodine in 5-7 fow. Caught a few on plastics but mostly on the mirrodine

  9. Details: Gulf Flounder with a Coleman lanterns/gigs

Took @glen007 and @kbarton51 gigging last night. It was pretty slow. Only ended up with 13, a ray, and a squid(which is a first for me), and had to work hard for ...more them. 5-10mph e wind, water was about mid 70's, slow and steady incoming tide, water was somewhat clear, very little moon, lots of bait everywhere. Gonna try and go back soon before November

    1. Kyle Barton 0

  10. Details: Largemouth Bass with a koppers frog

It's hard to beat a frog bite. Had some time to kill so I ran to the reservoir for a little bit. Had three miss completely, but when I tried slowing it down ...more for them they wouldn't hit it and finally landed this one. mid 80's, full moon, 10mph s wind, just working it through holes in the pads in about 5 fow. I guess it was all reaction b/c I couldn't get a blow up on a slower retrieve, only burning

    1. Kyle Barton 0
to the boat through the holes.
