1. Details: Largemouth Bass with a Spro bronzeye popping frog

Fishing in🍯hole with the popping frog, caught her a foot or two off of the bank near weeds, was standing behind dam because it looked like a 'fishy spot' ...more and was feeling it fast when I had a blowup. 9 times out of 10 if you get a blowup and cast to the same spot you'll get another bite. From what I saw I didn't even get the hook in her, frog was sitting in her mouth! Ended up weighing 5lb10oz.!

  3. Details: Largemouth Bass with a Shad spinnerbait with zoom grub trailer cut to fit

It's been raining pretty good here in Texas these last few days, the water in this private pond was extremely muddy from runoff. I read somewhere that gold works ...more much better in murky water than silver, and it was the perfect time to use a spinnerbait, overcast, and wind out of the north. Was about to leave skunked but o threw it into a small little creek behind a bridge and felt a shake. Set it.

  4. Details: Largemouth Bass with a Storm shad swimbait

Was chilling by a calm spot on the river, my friend brought his rod and gave up after a few casts. Caught this one and one before, strong fighters and first fish ...more I've caught in the river. Slow rolled swimbait over rocks below small waterfall.

  5. I've been accumulating excessive amounts of tackle and now looking into a new tacklebox, anyone have this one or suggestions? Needs to carry at least 3-4 Plano ...more 36 or 3700 series boxes

  6. Details: Largemouth Bass with a Pictured: old style rattle trap with rusty hooks

Well, It was too nice outside to be sleeping so I took a trip around waterloo and eventually got a good bite! I'm in love with this reel, it's flawless. ...more I found the inertia breaks on the side and you cm don't even have to use your thumb to control the spool, and still have some serious distance. Love it.

  8. Details: Largemouth Bass with a Chatter bait (sorry for terrible picture)

Went to the same location as last time to see if we could get some action, we both caught three extremely healthy fish with red lips so I knew crawfish were most ...more likely the main food source. The wind was really brutal today, gusts of 30 mph from the direction we were casting into, kinda chilly but the sun was warm and nice, I think I actually got a sunburn, texas decided to skip winter this year😂

  9. Details: Largemouth Bass with a Sexy shad chatterbait

So after catching my big ole bass I take off my chatterbait my dad says 'you're an idiot for taking that off man' he puts it on and a few casts later ...more he's hooked up with this beast! My fish weighed more but his was longer and I believe it has the potential to be 10 pounds. Slow roll the chatterbait and you will catch a beast.

  10. Details: Largemouth Bass with a Sexy shad chatterbait with zman grub tail

So pretty much the chatterbait is the go to bait for warm winter days. The ONE day I leave my digital scale at home I catch this beast. I'm calling it 6 and ...more a half pounds. The motion of the chatter bait is just something fish can't ignore! The hook was so sharp it's insane! Get you one!!

      Nice one!

About

For me it's not about catching big fish, it's about being outdoors! I mostly fish for bass, occasionally I try for catfish, striper, trout and ...more crappie. Teach me something new!
