1. Huddleston's new bait in progress. They're still playin around with colors but I think this is a gem.

      Ok thanks

      $25 @TennesseeTroutboy
    3. britt_mckay 0
      That's so mean 😜
    4. johnybass 0
      @OhioFish Yeah, alot of swimbaits seem to have that issue, get a beefy rod and strike hard and hopefully the fish committed to the strike.
    5. OhioFish 0
      Looks great but it looks like it takes a lot of pressure to expose that hook enough to stick into a bass. Just my thoughts.
    6. TennesseeTroutboy 0
      Ya the weedless huds are a steal
    7. johnybass 0
      @TennesseeTroutboy
    8. johnybass 0
      Price hasn't been announced but Huddleston has some of the most inexpensive baits in the bizz.
    9. TennesseeTroutboy 0
      Looks amazing, how much is it going to be?
    10. King_Fisher 0
      That's awesome!

    Middle of the day topwater bite.Heard there are fatties in here but pond was surrounded by trees limiting fishing to this bridge. Needed the big bait for distance. ...more Weeds & lily pads eveywhere.Trees overhead were cramping my casts. Super tough spot to fish with mosquitoes & fire ants lighting me up.Was able to pull a 6 and a 4 out of here and a couple 1-2ers. #fallbassinwhileothersareflounderin

    Got a late start out of Point Loma @9:30 am, kelps everywhere, we got to the backside of the north 9 and found a nice patty. It held rat yellows and dorado. We ...more worked south, parallel to north Coronado island and found a few more kelps that held fish. Ended the day with 4 dorado and 3 really small yellows. We found water as warm as 77°! The water was clear & blue starting 2 miles out.

    1. johnybass 0
      @DanTheMan ha, the gaff man missed 2 or 11 times, stuck him in the dorsal.

    11. TennesseeTroutboy 0
      They've got snakehead there so topwater frogs or any predator baits with a good batcaster and I would bring 8-25lb flouro or mono
    12. johnybass 0
      alerts = blerts
    13. johnybass 0
      Heard! I have 80 gb of space to film on the gopro, and have another 50 gb. on 3 different phones, I'll have a ton of footage to share, I'll try my best for ...more realtime alerts! @m_cizek

    15. Mason Cizek 0
      Would love to se'
    16. Mason Cizek 0
      an hour on one, but you could be catching one every cast! You just have to find what the fish are hitting on. Good luck when you're out there buddy! Catch some ...more monsters, I and everyone else on here...
    17. Mason Cizek 0
      Nice, just more money you save! I would also take a castnet. Get on a school and you'll have a whole days bait. You probably know this but don't be afraid ...more switch baits/lures. You may be catching 5-6..
    18. johnybass 0
      @m_cizek I heard you don't need a fishing licence in Thailand
    19. johnybass 0
      @whitebass_81 you're right on on that one, my Google earth has been working out for sure
    20. johnybass 0
      10-4 I'll bring some sabikis with me, good info dude, thanks @m_cizek
    21. whitebass_81 0
      Look at where you are planning to fish on google maps to see the surrounding s and how quickly it drops off. Also don't be afraid to ask the locals @johnybass
    22. Mason Cizek 0
      Some good fish.
    23. Mason Cizek 0
      Other artificial color I would use would be something like a anchovies, that's mostly what pelagic eat out there. If you find a school of anchovies, you should ...more defiantly be able to hook up with....
    24. Mason Cizek 0
      And other reef dwelling fish
    25. Mason Cizek 0
      Fish over there are silver. If you run along the reef you should hook up a bunch of fish. You could even try jigging the reefs, that what my buddy did. He hooked ...more up with bunches of sharks....
    26. Mason Cizek 0
      For what you're looking at I would defiantly use live bait. You can try the artificials something that will swim pretty deep. You could probably use something ...more like a shad color. A lot of the smaller
    27. Mason Cizek 0
      Do you know if the islands will have reefs near them?
    28. johnybass 0
      I tried looking at fish reports out there but they're totally outdated
    29. johnybass 0
      I'm down to sit on a longboard and paddleboard and catch reef fish even, it would be nice to catch a pelagic over 10#s on an artificial though. @m_cizek
    30. johnybass 0
      I'm having a hard time finding the species and times of year they are there on the google
    31. johnybass 0
      I'll be on the beach mostly on different islands, I just don't know if I have to go 100 yards or 50 miles to get fish. I'd rather stay within 5 miles ...more offshore of the location I'm at. @m_cizek
    32. Mason Cizek 0
      Some biggins and was happy he brought big gear. Hope this helps 👍 if you have anymore questions ask me and I will ask him!
    33. johnybass 0
      @m_cizek thanks for that
    34. Mason Cizek 0
      Big gear. You can use the smaller one for bait fish/smaller gamefish. He had an awesome time and really wants to go again. He mostly fished small lakes, big ponds, ...more and small rivers. He hooked up.....
    35. Mason Cizek 0
      Nope never have. Friend has though that's what he took. Lots of fish out there. Many different sizes. Most catfish out there get pretty big that's for the ...more bigger rod and saltwater you always want....
    36. johnybass 0
      @m_cizek have you been?
    37. johnybass 0
      @nowling was he fishing salt?
    38. Mason Cizek 0
      I would take 2 setups. One spinning reel with around 30 pound braid. A quality saltwater bait casting reel (penn or Abu Garcia) with 120-200 pound braid for BIG ...more saltwater and freshwater fish.
    39. nowling 0
      My dad has been there and he took 1 heavy 1 medium 1 lite and said he only used bait

    9. Bassman138 0

    10. johnybass 0
      those docks happen to be where they sunk a cessna, 2 airstreams, and something else just recently @basslover138
    11. johnybass 0
      it's also a scuba diving park and I guess a new diving student got caught up on fishing line and had to be rescued by her instructor so she doesn't like ...more people fishing on the first 3 docks

      @basslover138
    13. johnybass 0

  5. Details: Largemouth Bass with a Flex Phantom 6 3/4" Rainbow trout pattern

    a couple weeks ago, twin lakes, fished for a half hour casting between a sunken cessna and airstream, this bait can be chugged, slow rolled, burned, twitched. The ...more versatility is wild. Perfect weather, around 10am, prespawn.

    1. Jimmy_Lynch 0
      @gr82bstr8 it's a real versatile bait
    2. johnybass 0
      @gr82bstr8 what @Jimmy_Lynch said.I pitch every new bait in front of me a few ' out several times and retrieve it different to see what I can really do with ...more it.This bait excels @ almost every retrieve
    3. Jimmy_Lynch 0
      @gr82bstr8 work it any way you can think of. The fish will let you know what they like. Slow and steady with the occasional twitch usually works for me
    4. gr82bstr8 0
      @Jimmy_Lynch I just picked up almost one of everything strike pro had on clearance at FTU a couple weeks ago. Caught two so far on the small phantom flex. How do ...more y'all normally retrieve them? @johnybass
    5. Jimmy_Lynch 0
      @LivewellHero yeah man. That one is a beast! 6 3/4" and 3oz
    6. Christian Holyoak 0
      Haha @Jimmy_Lynch it strikes again. I didn't know there was such a huge one!
    7. johnybass 0

    8. bigbass125 0
      @johnybass I am going to get into swimbaits soon and I was wondering what reel should I use I have a rod picked out and I won't be throughing anything bigger ...more than 6 inches and not heavier than 4 ounce

  7. Details: Largemouth Bass with a popper, 7.5" flex phantom

    this was about 2 weeks ago, windy during the day then it went still at dusk, I was pitching the phantom out about 15' & burning it back, the follows and ...more short strikes were a rush to watch, lost about a 7#er right at the shore, I watched her come from the depths and inhale the bait. Once the sun began to dip it went wide open on topwater, I counted 4 blowups on one retrieve and several casts with 2

    1. johnybass 0
      @Jimmy_Lynch Got it
    2. Jimmy_Lynch 0
      They aren't drained completely. About 3 ft low which takes a lot of water out of the ponds. The banks and flats are exposed right now
    3. johnybass 0
      10-4 do you know what they do with the fish if anything when they drain the pond? @Jimmy_Lynch
    4. Jimmy_Lynch 0
      Let the ponds get filled up again and the fish get their heads straight on what they are gonna do and it would be worth the drive to come out
    5. johnybass 0
      bummer, I might have to wait it out. @Jimmy_Lynch
    6. Jimmy_Lynch 0
      It's been rough. My main ponds are drained for maintenance. And other ponds are on that weird post spawn/summer pattern.
    7. johnybass 0
      Right on, think I'll be making a Katy trip here in the next couple days, how is it out there lately? @Jimmy_Lynch
    8. Jimmy_Lynch 0

    9. johnybass 0

    10. johnybass 0

    12. johnybass 0
      biggest fish looked to be about 5#s
    13. johnybass 0
      Or 3 blowups. I had fish going completely airborne, they were so aggressive that they just kept missing the bait, I caught 5 fish in this 20 minute window with about ...more 50 strikes. My heart was racing!
