    I caught a 28 inch 2 pound sturgeon in 10 FOW with a medium action rod spin cast, 2/0 octopus circle hook and a 1/2 ounce sinker. Had a tag on it so the state of ...more Missouri will pay $25-$150 for information about the fish. The sturgeon seemed weak so I cut the tag off and immediately released it.

    About 10 FOW. 4 pounds and 21 inches. Using 20# braid and 2/0 octopus circle hooks on a medium action rod. Weather was rainy and windy.

    Weather was overcast and windy temp in the low 60s. I was using a medium action Shakespeare combo with 12# mono a 3/0 circle hook and 1/2 ounce sinker. Fishing about ...more 15 feet from the shore in about 10 FOW. It was the first time I have caught a Sturgeon and I ended up catching two in one evening.

    Weather was sunny and hot no wind. Bait was frozen peeled shrimp on a medium action rod 12# mono and a 3/0 circle hook and a 1/2 ounce sinker. Roughly 5 FOW about ...more 3 feet from the shoreline. This guy nailed the hook like he hadn't eaten in weeks =)

    A little chunk of hotdog caught this guy. Never thought something would hit on a hotdog. I was using a medium action rod with #12 mono a 3/0 circle hook and a 1/2 ...more ounce sinker. Casted into the current and let it sink about 5 feet from the shoreline in about 4 FOW.

    I set a bank line using #12 mono and a very small treble hook I had left over from a long time ago. I was fishing for catfish and looked over to see this fish just ...more hanging out with my hook in it's mouth. I took it off the hook, took a picture and let him go. Pretty neat to me =)
