1. Details: Red (redfish) Drum

My son hauled in this 24 1/2 red hottom fishing with dead shrimp. It was the only one we saw for the day. Packery Channel is still a dead zone.

  2. I went out to the Packery Channel Jetties on JP Luby Beach Corpus Christi Tx. I spent 2 hours on the jetties the water looked amazing and I had a light cool north ...more breeze. Caught nothing but hardhead ( 11 of them) they got annoying so I went home. Several people fishing out there and noone caught anything other than hardheads :(

  3. I caught a "keeper" well I hope Im a keeper..haha

It'll be sore for a couple days for sure. Make you shy away from speed baiting or nonchalantly unhooking a lively fish for a little while. Bad spot for it too..
