  1. Kayaked a section of the chunky river in Mississippi. Very nice scenery considering they very rarely ever get snow.

  2. Size 4 streamer. White zonker strip tail. Pearl sparkle braid body. Red Krystal flash. Red marabou collar. Split shot eyes.

  4. This is a little foam frog I tied. Hoping it will take down some bass while fly fishing lakes in a kayak.

    1. TheDirtyPelican 0
Yeah just tie a over hand knot about an inch away from where you want the toes to end and then cut the tip into four pieces. Throw some dots or stripes with sharpie ...more or color green.

Cool. Thanks for the idea. I've never thought of using rubber bands.
    4. TheDirtyPelican 0
The. I woulda done exactly what you did but I have used rubber bands in a pinch. @FlyRodCommander
    5. FlyRodCommander 0
The original pattern I seen used silly legs. Next time I'm near a fly shop I'm going to pick some up. Closest place to get materials is an hour and 45 minutes.
    6. TheDirtyPelican 0
They fly through the air better if you use rubber bands or silly legs for the legs. But very nice!

About

I love God, my family and fly fishing. My favorite fish are trout but as long as I can step into a river with my fly rod then I don't mind what ...more I'm fishing for.
