Wasn't a good enough bag for 1st place at the B.A.S.S Highschool state championship, but man we sure had a great time catching these monster prespawn smallies!! ...more Came in 6th with 14.44lbs of Idaho smallmouth! And I'm looking forward to the next Highschool tournament coming in June!! Had to pigs at 4.70 and 5 and 1/3 lbs!!!

Pre-fishing Brownlee reservoir for the first high school bass tournament of this year. Fishing a steep rock wall with a drop shot slowly wiggling the worm in place ...more then bouncing it ever 20-45 seconds. Very subtle bite, but 3.3lb smallie!! My new PB! Very awesome to catch this fish in practice! Water temperature Was about 48-49 degrees. We only got 3 bites all day but they were nice ones!

It has a 225 Evinrude E-Tech motor with a brand new power head,now It is still at the boat shop getting power poles!!

Tough day yesterday out fishing, first time out on the ranger for 2015! Took awhile to find them and they were picky! Finally found them off of a rock wall anywhere ...more from 15-28 FOW dropshotting along place where I could find any type of structure, yesterday it was rock. Caught this nice 2-1/3 lbs. smallmouth and 2 more small ones the were in some really deep water.

First smallmouth bass of 2015! Can't wait for spring to come! This smallmouth bass hit on a rocky/ Gravely slope that went from about 25-17 FOW with before evening ...more out. 45-48 degree water yesterday while fishing, we Had the aluminum boat out but had to dock it due to the crazy wind. Tied it up on the dock closest to the sloping bank. Caught a lot of perch on the same ledge too.

Second bass of 2015 and she was a chunk! Really cold, some ponds had partial ice clumps but we found a pond with a cove and lots of wood cover that the sun hit as ...more it passed over. 45 degree air temps and low high 30 to low 40 degree water temps! Fishing it slowly in about 4-5 FOW bass would come up in the shallows and soak up the sun but only for a short period of time mid-late after noon

Really pretty rainbow trout that I caught yesterday! Drifting salmon eggs behind these 2 big pieces of structure/metal barrels that created a small eddy of more ...more slack water than what was around it and I would just cast in between the two pieces of structures/ metal barrels and let's it drift in and around for awhile and they would usually pick it up right as it was about to leave the slack water
