3 biggest of 9 specks this morning. Took the kayak out to clear lake park and it was a beautiful morning. Water was calm, bait fish were around, and the bite was ...more on! Only fishes for about an hour and nearly limited out. Had the shrimp on a popping cork with a 2 1/2 foot Fluoro leader in about 7fow.

    4. fishaholic13 0
      Getting a big fish
    5. fishaholic13 0
This is gonna sound really stupid and weird but the day before you take it out sit in your kayak while it's all rigged up. Try to go through all the things u ...more could imagine happening like:
    6. ReddenD 0
Have fun man. It's very addicting even if you aren't catching fish. The quietness is fantastic.
    7. fin07 0
@crookcody19 @ReddenD thank you guys for the tips!!!! I'm excited to start
    8. ReddenD 0
Biggest advice I've heard "Rig to flip and dress to swim." I've been lucky so far but... Like @crookcody17 said it tie everything down you don't ...more want to lose. Get some bungee cords.
    9. crookcody19 0
Also if your freshwater bass fish a stick out pole is really great to have to keep you in place.
    10. crookcody19 0
Have you most valuable stuff tied to your kayak!!! If you kayak fish it's only a matter of time before you flip and when it happens you don't want to lose ...more your expensive gear.
