  3. Details: Black Rockfish with a Squid bits

    Fishing for baitfish when I went deep sea fishing. Had 5 hooks on the line, each with a tiny piece of squid on the hook. Reeled in and every hook was taken with ...more a fish! Never caught 5 fish at once before! 2 of them were red snapper, so we let them go, but the other 3 were rockfish so we kept those to get the amberjacks!

      @Reel_Smooth @bassman3869 thank you!

  7. Details: Largemouth Bass with a Zoom Lizard June Bug

    Of course the time I get backlash I catch this lol! By the time I fixed my line and started to slowly reel in normally my rod started bending and this decent size ...more bass gave me a fun fight!

    1. robz713 0
      Cool
  8. Details: Largemouth Bass with a Fake minnow

  9. Details: Largemouth Bass with a Fake minnow

    From a while back, when the weather was enjoyable and the sun was out. Fishing on the gazebo.

  10. Got my first baitcaster. It's an Abu Garcia saltwater/freshwater rod and combo. Not really sure how to use it yet but I'll figure it out! I'm open to ...more any suggestions about it and baitcasters in general sinse it will be such a learning experience for me.

    1. emily_szczechowski 0
      @ChanceHuiet yeah i dont have braid yet
    2. thedevman1 0
      What kind of structure you're dealing with. Just my opinion
    3. thedevman1 0
      IMO I use braid. Start with 20 or 30 Lb test. Backlashes are more manageable and with braid you feel everything. You'll even feel a fish when it swims by and ...more buzzes your line and you'll quickly learn
    4. thedevman1 0
      Welcome to the wonderful world of backlash! It will happen to you no matter what level you are so just keep at it. It's an art really πŸ˜‰
    5. emily_szczechowski 0
      @bassinboy01 thanks!
    6. Jacob Breaux 0
      much stops spinning when the bait hits the ground / water. The magnetic brake you'll be fine if you just put it about half and leave it. 12lb mono is perfect ...more like Brandon was saying
    7. Jacob Breaux 0
      Don't go try it out on a windy day. Guaranteed way to get really frustrated really quick. For starting out, put the spool tension just tight enough so that the ...more bait falls slowly and the spool pretty
    8. emily_szczechowski 0
      @slatwater thank you!
    9. miguel moreno 0
      the breaks @emily_szczechowski but good luck once u get use to it u will be good and nice choice on the brand abu garcia for live lol good luck
    10. miguel moreno 0
      for starters I would recommend put braided line cuz it doesn't back slash as much as if u would put mono flour but that's totally ur decision... and in every ...more lighter or heavier lure u gotta adjust
    11. King_Fisher 0
      Check youtube
    12. emily_szczechowski 0
      @Wyatt_Hebb all the way? Or how much
    13. Wyatt_Hebb 0
      Helps to turn your magnetics up a whole lot while learning.

      @BrandonScottAlt yeah im for sure going to need practice on this thingπŸ˜‚
    16. Brandon alt 0
      Keep messing with it in like your pool or a lake nearby until you get comfortable
    17. emily_szczechowski 0
      @BrandonScottAlt will do! Thank you
    18. Brandon alt 0
      Try 12lb line and adjust your breaks on either side of the reel until your lure falls slowly when you hit the button
