SLAB CRAPPIE! 2.7 pounds and 15 inches at a local pond! The bite was on with monster crappie all day yesterday. Caught one other 2 pound bass and and 3 other 1-2 ...more pound crappie. Caught more today that I'll post in a second.

Felt good to get back into some topwater action. Hit up a pond down the street that was about 1/4 covered in algae so I figured why not try the frog. Overall had ...more 4 takes and 2 fish in a little less than half an hour. This one was about 15 1/2 inches and 2 pounds; really chunky. Still waiting for the water temp to warm up enough for the spawn!

21 inches, and 5.17 pounds... Enjoying the beautiful weather before two rainy days. Also caught a 17 inch 3 pounder. This big girl slammed my lure 15-20 feet out. ...more She absolutely swallowed it. I had to hold on to the very end of my small pliers to reach and remove the hook.
