    Decided to go down to the pass for the day. Saw the pole bend and ended up being two sheephead on the double hook liter. Caught lots of bonnet head shark and stingray. ...more Used the stingray and whiting for shark bait, but came up empty in that department. Pretty successful day overall. Anybody have advise for shark fishing the pass, or any other part of Galveston/Freeport?

    Chummed up the water and saw this guy with a few more Koi. There were also some commons with them side by side. I let my bait drop and watched my fly line start ...more to move and stuck the sucker. Just to be clear, **NOT CAUGHT OUT OF THE KOI PONDS** this was caught in the herman pond. It is against the law to fish the koi pond. Use a fly rod to catch carp. It makes it a whole lot more fun.

    Just posting all the fishing photos I have on my phone. This was in winter, which is the best time to go down and fish for trout in the guad. I totally recommend ...more fly fishing for these guys. It's fun and if you don't have one, get one, it is so fun.

      they always go for cut bait, they're pretty aggressive. I've caught them on cut mullet. quick question though, how do you get a gold membership on here?

    Went 5 miles offshore to deep sea fish on a charter called the Jubilee. It was pretty fun and easy for anyone who wants to catch fish. We also caught and kept a ...more bunch of white snapper since red is out of season now. 5 hours for $50 a person. Fun day trip.
