    Details: Bluegill Sunfish

    I probably caught about 25-30 of these guys today at a small wooded pond. Only 11 were decent sized though. And something got ahold of 3!of them while on my stringer. ...more Turtle I'm guessing? Never had that happen before.

      Probably a turtle. It's happened to me & probably many others here. I've never seen them in the act, but have seen them approach the stringer with what ...more looked like nefarious intent.

    One of two blues I caught while jug fishing today at Glen springs lake. Two blues 4-5lbs and a channel that was about 2.5lbs. Was fishing in a cove where the water ...more was about 12-15' deep.

    This was the smallest of 5 I caught (best was about a 4lber) 2 weeks ago at a new private pond I just got permission to fish. Tons of structure and very hard to ...more fish around. I need to invest in a small Jon boat for all these little ponds I've been hitting this year.

      Get a kayak instead, much easier to transport and cheaper, you can find a good one now for around $600

    Caught this guy and 4 other decent sized bass on a black/blue midnight special and white terminator spinner baits. Water was very muddy at this small, private lake.

    Couldn't get the bass to bite at Poplar Tree Lake today. Water was very clear, and cooler than other places I've been to, about 53*. I tried different colored ...more spinner baits, a couple of rattle traps and a swim jig without a single bite. I also tossed around a live worm on an ultra lite hoping for a bream to save me from a skunk, but it didn't happen.

    Details: Largemouth Bass

    First fish I caught using my new to me boat. He was the smallest of 4 I caught today. I also missed a couple others. Very slow/lazy bite. Caught these at Glenview ...more lake in Tipton Co. Small pay lake, water was pretty murky and greenish. Water temp was right at 55*.
