  5. Details: Red (redfish) Drum with a -FTU 6'6" pro series MH rod -shimano curado 200HG -Norton 4" bull minnow pearl and chartreuse tail

Went out on the yak to hit a light by the house, fishing hitting like crazy. Saw about 8 reds sitting in the lights, pulled up plenty out of the lights and dropped ...more anchor. Casted through the lights and keeping bait suspended in water column w a medium retrieve, fish almost every cast 4/5 on red the biggest being 25" and one trout. Not bad for 30 minutes. Make sure to stay well away from lights

    1. Melissa1234567 0

Couldn't get out till late, hit the marshes right by the house casting with a plastic that was just laying around, right next to marsh and popping and reeling ...more slow, caught two this is my personal best to date. Work it slow around muddy bottoms here and you should have no problem finding the fish

19", one of those days where you hook almost every cast but cannot land the fish, so only ended up with a few, also couldn't get live shrimp till 11. Wind ...more gusts up to 15MPH ENE, water dirty brown so headed to wind blocked sides of land masses, found a slight cove off of ICW full of trout and reds with greener water. Tail hook shrimp and cast as close to marsh as possible, pop several time set hook

Believe it or not, had to work real hard for these reds today. Rain held off our start till 12. Don't try to fish lake right now, you won't catch much of ...more anything due to the massive amounts of freshwater from the recent downpours. Head back into the Weirs and fish the marsh. Fish around any and all points in the marsh. EVERY point has a red sitting on it. Throw it and pop it twice and hold on! Ctd
