    Details: Longnose Gar with a 10" Artifical Worm, Texas Rigged.

    Fishing toward banks for hidden Bass but this ugly guy just couldn't resist. I never saw him due to heavy stained water conditions.

      @thatfisher372 Deep 20-25 fow near the native launch just east of 29 and SG river. Lots of natural habitat & critters so be careful.

    Had to break-in new Diablo. Standing about an hour after sunset. Buried himself under thick grass during the fight. I thought he was gone but was just exhausted. ...more Had to reach under grass patch to retrieve him. Released to catch another time.

    Could not sleep so I left the house and hit the lake AT 530 where this beastie and I met up. She broke my rod but still landed her and one more just for GP.

    About 7AM. Cast between two grass beds, hit while slow sinking. Water clear.

    12 inch Zoom, watermelon, texas rig, large tree fallen over in 4ftw. Let it run for a 2-3 seconds before setting hook in jaw... barely! 18 inches but fought a ton ...more for size once she got close to kayak.
