Dad hooked up with a bull red! Caught on a 10" thumpin' mullet in "Fire Chicken" on a 1/4 oz jig head over an artificial reef in East Bay!

Fished East Galveston Bay with @bassin5 this morning. He Caught this nice trout! Tough day of fishing due to the Tropical storm. Caught a few specks, reds, sand ...more trout and a tripletail.

@TXfisherman97 Yeah man for sure. 10 bearings 6:3:1 gear ratio and a braking system similar to a shimano reel. Took me a while to find an academy with them in stock ...more especially when they are on sale.

@xgr82bstr8x Yes I could walk to that spot in just a few minuets. Lots of neighborhood lakes with small bass but this had been my main big fish spot.

@xgr82bstr8x it's an old quarry kind of like a giant mini lake. Gets up to 80 ft deep. Some monsters in there! Huge bass crappie catfish and bluegill.

@shadow21488 I either throw a h2o express frog or a koppers live target. I usually use natural Colors. I find those work best in the ponds I fish.

Dad hooked up with a monster on a Deep Sea Snapper Trip. Line popped an hour into the fight. Never got to see the fish!
