This is a pleco aka armored catfish, if seen in a pond contact Texas parks and wildlife. They are an invasive species wreaking havoc on our natural lake and river ...more stream ecosystems. Be on the look out

Independence park in Missouri city is loaded with them. Fish with night crawlers and you won't be able to keep them off

      Us @htown
    9. Tim 0
Eh that's debatable, in takes yes. However they cause way more damage, and in my experience they haven't clean up my ponds, mine our still algae filled and ...more nasty, they just aren't good in the wild for
    10. htown 0
      They clean nasty waters though
    11. Tim 0
Exactly @aggiebasser and it is a shame

    14. Ryan Money 0
cant they just shock the pond?
    15. Tim 0
No @TexasAngler7 they are trying to figure out a way to get rid of them though with out hurting natural species
    16. Ryan Money 0
did they remove them from your pond?
    17. Tim 0
Kill if caught and let the birds have it
