1. Details: Inshore Slam (trout/flounder/redfish) with a Spoons and Storm Shad

Fished east bay with some of my friends a few days ago. Started to wade in the morning and ended up fishing from the boat. We were the only ones out there when specs ...more and sandies started to school on Shad. It was the coolest thing I have ever seen! The trout were jumping out of the water. We caught 40+ and kept about 7 keepers.

  2. Details: Largemouth Bass with a 💸

Bought the new Shimano Curado 200 HG reel! Smoothest product I have ever reeled and casted. Can't wait to use it on some monster bass!

  3. Details: Largemouth Bass with a Paul Brown Devil Tail Corky

My old spot I would go to is starting to pick up! When I was working it along the bank this pregnant bass inhaled the bait. Not a bad day in the rain.

    1. nathaniel jones 0
@AllWaterLife @allennnnn_ i live on the creek right by feild creek so i fish both alot
    2. AllWaterLife 0
I tried jigs and Alex threw a spinner but we couldn't get em. And I didn't discover the virtue of lipless cranks til later that day @allennnnn_
    3. allennnnn_ 0
@AllWaterLife Finally a crappie haha and yeah you just gotta find what theyre biting, lipless cranks , spinners and jigs/craws work best there imo
    4. AllWaterLife 0
Hmm alright @allennnnn_. All we saw was gar mostly. I caught a tiny bass and a small crappie.
    5. allennnnn_ 0
@amassie @AllWaterLife Theres some real nice fish in there, Ive seen a couple 6 and 7's
    6. allennnnn_ 0

Big ole fatty hungry for some jigs! Put up a pretty good fight along the bank and when I was reeling it in, a gar had attacked it! Luckily the bass wasn't hurt.

  5. Details: Pumpkinseed Sunfish with a KVD Rage Watermelon Red Craw

Probably one of the biggest sunfish I've ever landed... Not sure what type it is so any help is welcome.

    1. steven ridout 0
Ya it's crazy! And I get more bites by using my friends stuff called spike it and I use it on the claws. It's a great way to get more action@allennnnn_
    2. allennnnn_ 0
I swear not only to bass hit rage craws but big sunfish do too! Ive caught alot on them recently
    3. pocfishin 0
It's a redear. Pumpkinseed are not native to Texas.
    4. steven ridout 0
      Thanks@whitebass_81 &@seaturtles
    5. Sean Wilms 0
looks more like a pumpkinseed to me, shell crackers have larger mouths, similar to a green sunfish, i say your right with pumpkinseed!

    1. steven ridout 0
Ya those are some bad stuff @YaknTX
    2. YakTX 0
Haha yeah I got about two ticks from going through the marsh like that... Not fun
    3. steven ridout 0
Ya we did as soon as we got out! But thanks though @YaknTX
    4. YakTX 0

Picture isn't really good but the fish gave a good fight!

    1. steven ridout 0
      Thank you! @orry23
    2. orry23 0
Lol really? I have been fishing for 15 years and held 5+lbs fish like that and I'm 100 % sure I have never hurt them.
    3. steven ridout 0
      Say what you want @saltlife32
    4. nathaniel jones 0
Im just trying to help keep the bass alive and ok calm down
    5. steven ridout 0
      Make me @saltlife32
    6. nathaniel jones 0
Yeah but key word is stop holding fish like that
    7. steven ridout 0
      Key word "could" @saltlife32
    8. nathaniel jones 0
It could break its jaw or spine and kill it
    9. steven ridout 0
I think the fish isn't gonna die just because of that @saltlife32
    10. nathaniel jones 0
No cause its size to weight ratio not always 3lbs
    11. steven ridout 0
It's alright though because the fish was under three lbs @saltlife32
    12. nathaniel jones 0
      I agree terrible handling
    13. Sutton Dole 0
Likely will not hurt it. Except when the fish gets bigger (3+) then it doesn't matter how fat he is it will most likely damage it
    14. Sutton Dole 0
Not necessarily @max1172 it's sorta ties into how big the fish is and how fat he is. If you catch a 15 inch bass that's pregnant and you do this it will ...more most likely hurt them. If it's skinny, it most
    15. max1172 0
That's only on fish over 5lbs
    16. Sean Wilms 0
      ^^^^i agree but nice fish
    17. allennnnn_ 0
Hey next time hold him either straight down or horizontally while supporting his tail, you can break his jaw the way your holding him and he'll die

  10. Details: Red (redfish) Drum with a Marsh Bug

I was messin around last night with some material and came up with this. Materials: Purple rabbit crosscut strips, dunbell eyes, Krystal flash, a bass streamer hook, ...more and red thread

    1. steven ridout 0
      Will do! @Ben_Sanford
    2. Ben_Sanford 0
Meant to say white Maribou. Adds some extra life to the flash.
    3. Ben_Sanford 0
Your welcome! That's a good looking streamer. Good job! If it doesn't quite get the results you want, try adding a small amount of white to the tail.
    4. steven ridout 0
      Thanks @Ben_Sanford
