Love flipping bushes! Caught this little girl after a bad pitch to a tree that landed in the tree and yo yo'd it out. Dobyns DX745, Shimano Core, 20lb Sunline ...more flouro, & a 3/8 oz NFT jig with a green twin tail grub trailer. Yak is a Jackson Cuda 12. Less than a foot of water on this one.

  2. Details: Largemouth Bass with a Nasty Fishing Tackle Bladed Jig

The fish where I live are finally moving up and eating pretty good. I've been tossing a 3/8 oz bladed jig with a twin tail grub trailer to stick ups in shallow ...more water with decent success. Used a Dobyns 704C, Shimano Chronarch, & 14 lb Sunline flouro. Nothing big yet but it's early still. Happy fishing!

This time of the year I look for any hard bottom whether it's rocks or wood or even some grass @fishin_man

This time of early spring cold water fishing, would you suggest fishing weeds or timber?

Little bucks are starting to move up here finally and I've been catching them on a 3/8 oz NFT bladed jig in black & blue with a green twin tail grub trailer ...more using a Dobyns 704C, Shimano Chronarch, & 15 lb flouro. Scattered in 4-8ish feet of stained water near wood. Happy fishing!

  6. Details: Largemouth Bass with a Nasty Fishing Tackle Buzzbait

Still catching them on buzzbaits although finding any of size is getting tougher. 55 degrees, water temp in the low 40s, foggy and a steady rain. 3/8 oz NFT buzzbait ...more fishing on a Dobyns 734C, Shimano Chronarch, and 15 lb mono fishing out of a Jackson Cuda 12. Happy fishing! Winter's coming here!

  7. Details: Largemouth Bass with a Nasty Fishing Tackle Buzzbait

Spent part of a nice day tossing a 3/8 oz NFT Buzzbait in black & blue and hammered em good. The water is in the low 40s here but with temps in the 60s, overcast ...more skies, and a good wind with a cold front coming they were chasing hard. Used a Dobyns 734C, Shimano Chronarch, & 15 lb mono and fished out of a Jackson Cuda 12

3/8 oz. I'll toss these all winter long with no trailer and the skirt trimmed to the hook. Black & blue or white is about all I use.

Do you ever make 3/8 oz football head jigs? When I fish rip rap this time of year I like a light jig that falls slowly so it doesn't crash down in between the ...more rocks and get stuck. I love your jigs btw
    16. NFTJigs 0
Nah it's just two bladed jigs side by side.

  10. Details: Largemouth Bass with a Nasty Fishing Tackle Flippin Jig

The water is getting colder every day here which means going to living rubber on my jigs. Fish are holding tight to wood to soak up any heat they can at this point ...more so I'm just pitching to any brush I can find using a Dobyns DX744, Shimano Core, 16 lb Sunline Flouro, & a NFT 3/8 oz flipping jig in green pumpkin living rubber and fishing out of a Jackson Cuda 12. Light biters these days.

    1. GizmosBait 0
I'm gonna have to order some with that style skirt.
    2. NFTJigs 0
@GizmosBait you'll normally get a livelier action and larger profile with living rubber. I like them on football jigs especially but will use them on just about ...more any type. Yours have all been silicone
    3. GizmosBait 0
What's the advantage in the living rubber? Not sure which I normally get from ya haha.
    4. Tyrone Smith 0
still using my jigs. love them.
