    perch haul from the other night. we had a late start, starting at 2pm and fished till dark at about 7pm. we drifted around in 9-11 feet of water until we got bit ...more and threw anchor and didnt move the rest of the night and ended up with 18 keepers and threw back just as many. funny thing was all the bigger ones bit just as it got dark & as soon as the sun went down they stopped & the rockbass started

    new casting PB muskie at 42 inches and estimated around 25 pounds. caught in 9 feet of water around some weed beds doing a straight retrieve on the rattle trap. ...more the fish put up a great fight and did 4 or 5 runs when it got close to the boat. hoping i can get a 50 incher with the water temps dropping and the fish moving in shallow.

    new setup for casting for muskies. the rod is a st croix mojo musky 8' 6" heavy and the reel is a shimano corvalus 400 loaded with 65lb power pro with a ...more 130# fluorocarbon leader. the bait is a regular sized super D in cisco color. gonna be nice weather all week hope i can hook into a nice one or 10
