1. My new Daiwa Revros 4000. best reel for the money I'd say. usually I'd say "you get what you pay for" but in this case I believe you get more then ...more what you pay for.

  2. Details: Largemouth Bass with a zoom pumpkin seed super worm. 5/0 weedless hook. 15lb braid with 20lb leader. Penn battle 2000

hot day in Florida today. in the 90's and very sunny. even that bass were trying to stay cool. slow day all around, bass chilling under the thick weeds, not ...more striking at the frog. threw on a senko on Texas rig. spotted hole in the weeds and pitched my worm 3ft past it. dragged it back to the hole and let it sink. one twitch got this guy to nail it.

  3. Details: Gulf Flounder with a live shrimp hooked through the tail on 3/0 circle hook. 15lb braid and 20lb leader. daiwa ballistic 3000

calm day on the water. went out on high tide. fishing from the boat about 15 yards off the jetties. first cast I got a high slot snook. but broke me off. free ...more lined a shrimp about 5yards of the jetties and this slot flounder nailed it. I was getting most strikes about 5yards off the jetties. if you cast too close you'll get caught on the big rocks. love jetties, they hold a variety of species.

  4. Details: Fat Snook with a live shrimp. 3/0 circle hook, 15lb braid with 20lb leader. daiwa ballistic 3000. st.Croix inshore mojo. sunny with strong wind.

rough day on the water. really choppy and windy so I decided to anchor the boat and hop on the jetties. using shrimp, threw some weight on there because of the rough ...more water. key was to cast 20 yards off the jetties and let the wind/ current bring the shrimp back toward the jetties. this snook apparently liked my technique. hard to keep it off the rocks as it continually tried to cut me off .

  5. Details: Red (redfish) Drum with a gulp shrimp white color. rigged on a 1/4 oz jig head. 20lb leader and 15lb braid. daiwa ballistic 3000 and st.Croix inshore mojo medium ...more action.

fishing in a backwater brackish water pond, if you didn't know better it looks like a freshwater lake but a canal feeds into it. the pond drops off to about ...more 10ft. I was using a Gulp shrimp casting about 30yrds out and let the bait sink to the bottom. slow retrieve with hard twitch got this 25inch red to nail it and run. loved the fight.and the depth of the lake let this red run like mad

  6. Details: Red (redfish) Drum with a live shrammmpp

I got that redfish classic thing that you like, and we'll never go out of style. lol

  7. Details: Red (redfish) Drum with a live shrimp, 2/0 circle hook. 20lb leader with 15lb braid.

nice slot redfish that I saw scavenging a oyster bed. not a lot of action on the grass flats but as tide was coming in reds started to head onto the oyster beds. ...more the key was to toss a shrimp right where the oyster bed meets the sandy flat so you don't get hooked up on the oysters. 84°F and sunny. high tide, fishing in about 2 1/2 ft of water.

  8. Details: Red (redfish) Drum with a shrimp 2/0 circle hook. 7ft st.Croix inshore mojo, Daiwa ballistic. 15lb mono 20lb leader.

Awesome day on the flats. low tide, and strong wind pushing me down the flats. while drifting in about 2ft of water I noticed a water bird get scared, immediately ...more seeing this red right behind it I casted a shrimp 5ft in front of it. felt a few taps on my line, then the fight was on. baitfish were in sand pockets and usually a red would be close by. most reds were in 2-3ft of water. 80° and sunny.

      Nice man!
  9. Details: Spotted (Speckled) Trout with a white doa paddle tail with zman jig head.

Awesome day on the flats. high tide and fish are rolling in to feed in bait fish in the shallows. trout were hanging in pot holes waiting for bait fish to swim over ...more them. got this 18" trout mimicking the bait fish that swim over the pot holes. cloudy with storms rolling in, medium chop, and high tide.

  10. Details: Largemouth Bass with a pumpkin seed zman senko rigged weedless with a 5/0 weedless hook. 15lb braid 20lb leader.

today I started off with working a senko, which is a bait that I started to stray away from and I don't know why. bass can't resist these baits, and are ...more lethal when rigged weedless when you are in heavy brush. these baits attract all sizes of bass, so you might go through a hand full of small bass before you get a lunker. caught 7 bass all in all. sunny and high of 85°. slight breeze from the S.
