1. Details: Largemouth Bass with a Pitboss, 3/8oz Tungsten Pegged, 3/0 VMC Heavy Duty Flipping Hook,

Took my boat out again last night and me and my buddy got into em. Got this 4.9 flipping a pitboss far into a laydown. This pond used to be choked but they put weed ...more killer in it so now the waters murky and the fish are tight to structure. The wood in this pond spits em out like a gumball machine. This fish tried her best to wrap me up and almost bent out my flipping hook. Buddy bagged a 5.6!

@matt I really love froggin and flippin this time of year..Its fun. Did bad in my last tourney so I'm trying to build confidence in my strengths again
    2. Jbird_401 0
@matt just been hitting a different pond and they like the creature baits so much it's hard to put em down. Don't you worry my man the lakes will be infested ...more with rats again very soon! lol
    3. Matt Dobson 0
      Woot! Where's the rat??
    4. Jbird_401 0
Thanks @King_Fisher it was a fun night

  2. Details: Largemouth Bass with a Pitboss, 3/8oz Tungsten sinker, 3/0 VMC Heavy Duty Flipping Hook, 50lb Braid, 7'6" Hvy Daiwa Lexa, Daiwa Tatula 100

Gave the swimbaits a rest today and decided to hit my favorite pond to frog and flip. It was a sunny hot day but the fish didn't seem to mind. Stuck this 4.9 ...more flipping the pitboss into a gnarly laydown. Seemed like the trick today was to flip creature baits to the end of the laydowns laying in the deeper water. I stuck 3 good ones for the day and me and my buddies best 5 went for close to 18lbs!

  3. Details: Largemouth Bass with a Spro BBZ-1 Rat, 8' extra heavy iRod Genesis ll, Daiwa Lexa 300, 25lb big game mono

Another solid RatšŸ€eater from todays 4th of July beat down! This fish EXPLODED on the rat when i started waking it. Overcast days seem to be perfect for throwing ...more the Big Baits. Today the fish were stacked up in a cove with grass, rock, and lillys. Seems like on a lake full of rocks and boulders if you find some grass, scum and lilly pads the Largemouth won't be too far. Fish went 3lb7oz

    1. Jbird_401 0
@eastonsutley i just came up with that hahaha
    2. eastonsutley 0
Haha that's a great way to put it!
    3. Jbird_401 0
@eastonsutley seems that way. whenever its cloudy the fish get rowdy lol

My first rat eater on the bbz1 rat!!!! Got bit hard waking the rat by weedbeds as the water died down from people swimming and jet skiers everywhere. Just got the ...more bait in the mail tonight and it's already producing! Stay Tuned....

    1. simmsrenegade61 0
@Jbird_401 it is my go to bait top water wakebait for open water. However, the rat's movement is the best I've ever seen and the 180 degree turns are insane ...more so it may never come off my TW wake setup
    2. Jbird_401 0
@simmsrenegade61 Thanks dude. The jackall mikey is a good bait. A guy on my instagram catches quaninty and quality with it
    3. simmsrenegade61 0
@Jbird_401 dude I saw the pic-MONSTER. I Was a Jackall Mikey guy for wakebait for like a month, now I can't take the rat off! It's insane
    4. Jbird_401 0
@simmsrenegade61 its been over 2yrs since i caught a 5lb fish. Felt like i held a unicorn last night lol

  5. Details: Largemouth Bass with a 68 Special Huddleston Deluxe, 8' iRod Genesis ll , Daiwa Lexa300

Broke in my new 8' irod swimbait stick tonight with a decent fish on the 68 special huddleston. Casted to the edge of lillies and let the hudd sink and started ...more a medium/slow retrieve and this fish Hammered it as the bait started thumping. New irod handled the fish money and the rods super light weight and balanced with the perfect parabolic bend for casting big swimbaits and fighting fish

    1. Jbird_401 0
@simmsrenegade61 no problem bro. Hope the poison ivy clears up quick for ya
    2. simmsrenegade61 0
@Jbird_401 dude I love the dialogue and I am going to go for the iRod 3-10oz. I'll probably order within the next week or so (battling some bad poison ivy at ...more the moment). Thanks bro
    3. Jbird_401 0
@simmsrenegade61 havent had a issue with the shorter handle. just means more business on the other end. sorry for blowing up your mentions
    4. Jbird_401 0
@simmsrenegade61 the guide select is a good rod. i think mine broke from me knocking it around in my truck out the back window. still love that rod too
    5. Jbird_401 0
@simmsrenegade61 when i called irod the owner picked up and he was willing to jump threw hoops for me. Good company and rods imo
    6. Jbird_401 0
@simmsrenegade61 first irod tw sent me they busted the insert out the top guide but long story short they overnighted me a new rod
    7. Jbird_401 0
@simmsrenegade61 they are rough on the guides jamming it in the tube. if you were bout to pull the trigger on the okuma id pay $15 more for the irod. its a feather ...more compared to a broomstick bro lol
    8. Jbird_401 0
@simmsrenegade61 bro this rod feels like a million bucks in my hands. Love the handle and the eva grips. You're gonna love it. Just inspect your rod when you ...more get it. TW stuffs em in a 8' box and...
    9. simmsrenegade61 0
@Jbird_401 Nice bro! One more question about the irod---how do you feel about handle length? 18" is pretty short for SB rods. I know the okuma you had that ...more broke was well over 20"
    10. Jbird_401 0
@simmsrenegade61 yea it'll throw the 68's and the spro rat money. just ordered a rat off ebay today. Went with white
    11. simmsrenegade61 0
@Jbird_401 ok, great info, thanks bro. As long as it throws the 68 hudds ok, I'm cool with it.
    12. Peyton Dalatri 0
I know man I want to try it too thats what im probably getting next
    13. Jbird_401 0
@simmsrenegade61 Its good to have the 3-10oz cause with the swimbaits you constantly wanna try bigger baits. I'd rather throw baits under the rating than throw ...more baits over the rods rating
    14. Jbird_401 0
@simmsrenegade61 the irod throws my 9" slammer good too. Heaviest baits i been throwing is a 8" savage gear line thru and Swaver 200 both are around 3 ...more 1/2oz
    15. Jbird_401 0
      @Peytond52 I wanna try their flipping stick. i bet it's amazing !!
    16. Jbird_401 0
@simmsrenegade61 Yea the rod throws 6" hudds perfect. I just throw my g2 shellcrackers on a 7'6" heavy flipping stick. The guide select is nice and ...more has a lifetime warranty but for $15 more I'd go irod
    17. Peyton Dalatri 0
No problem man glad you like it and ya im getting another one for sure
    18. simmsrenegade61 0
@Jbird_401 actually, it is the 3-10oz I'm looking at. You're comfortable with throwing less than 3oz on it?
    19. simmsrenegade61 0
@Jbird_401 the okuma select but when's yours broke I pumped the brakes. I don't know if I'd go 3-10oz but def the irod 2-8oz instead. I think you sold ...more me on the irod bro!
    20. simmsrenegade61 0
@Jbird_401 I have been teetering and researching irod for quite some time now and I've heard amazing things. I have a tec spec w&m, 7"6 heavy but I ...more am about to buy the big boy next. I almost bought...
    21. Jbird_401 0
@Peytond52 Thanks again for the feedback on the irod. It's my new favorite rod. I'll be buying more soon for sure!
    22. Jbird_401 0
@simmsrenegade61 What are you throwing yours with?
    23. Jbird_401 0
@simmsrenegade61 I highly recommend it bro. I still like my okuma but this rods way more sensitive , balanced and way lighter. Okuma gave me tennis elbow after a ...more week lol
    24. Jbird_401 0
@simmsrenegade61 i was referred by a guy from Cali on Instagram and a kid on here. Cali dude told me he likes em better than his Dobyns champion series. He had the ...more dobyns inserts fall out after a week
    25. Jbird_401 0
@simmsrenegade61 I went with the 8' extra heavy 3-10oz XL swim. It's amazing bro. So light and well balanced. It can throw baits under 3oz good too cause ...more its got a nice parabolic bend to it
    26. simmsrenegade61 0
Nice man! Which irod did you get? I mean which lure oz range is it?

  6. Details: Largemouth Bass with a 6" Huddleston Deluxe

Bucketmouth shot of Monday's Hudd victim. I love seeing how they choke down the huddlestons. Just remember they're called "Largemouth Bass" for ...more a reason. They'll eat anything and everything that can fit in their big mouths! Ken Huddleston's a smart guy, he designed these baits with a top hook to not choke out and kill trophy fish. This fish was just barely hooked on the corner of her lip

    1. Tim Knecht 0
Haha I believe it!! And I always end up catch my best fish on my cheapest stuff haha
    2. Jbird_401 0
@tkotattoos you'd think cause they cost $25 that you'd have to fight fish off with a stick but you gotta work hard for bites lol
    3. Jbird_401 0
@tkotattoos They're fun but its alot of empty casting before you get bit. i threw that hudd so many times on so many days with no bite and finalky got one to ...more shake my hand monday lol
    4. Tim Knecht 0
I just may have to try out a Hudd someday.
    5. Edward Pease Bomber1 0
@aesthetic_legacy likes throwing hudds as well.

  7. Details: Largemouth Bass with a 6" Huddelston Deluxe (Baby Bass) Had to improvise and use my 7'6" H Vendetta since i broke my swimbait rod yesterday. Got a ...more new 8' irod coming wednesday and okuma warranty service will take 3weeks

Hit the pond on foot after work. It was windy with blue bird skies and post front conditions. Bagged this fish letting my hudd sink and sit on the bottom dead sticking ...more while i managed my line on my spool. I engaged my reel and looked up and saw my line taking off like a bat out of ****. Set the hook, tried my best to not let her jump and swung her in! Fun fish to break in my Daiwa Lexa 300

    1. Jbird_401 0
@matt yea i think i've been working the bait too fast
    2. Matt Dobson 0
Right on! Was just commenting on @tkotattoos blert where he had the same thing happen. Had put down the pole to deal with something when the line took off. Maybe ...more something to it...

  8. Details: Largemouth Bass with a Booyah Pad Crasher Frog/50lb Power Pro Braid

Little frog action last night under the clouds before the rain rolled in today. Caught this fish casting my frog over thick lilly pads and raking the frog over the ...more pads. This fish came out and exploded on the frog like a missle. Thought i had a big fish for a minute but he shrunk in size considerably the closer i got to landing him. Hate when that happens lol

    1. Jbird_401 0
@ronety Thanks bro. Frog fish are always fun
    2. Tyrone Smith 0
Nothing like that frog action. Nice catch

Bucketmouth shot of last nights frog eater! Seeing em BLOW UP on the frog and then knocking em cross eyed with the hookset NEVER gets old!

    1. Jbird_401 0
      @ChanceHuiet I completely agree lol
  10. Details: Largemouth Bass with a Booyah Frog, 50lb braid

Solid frog fish beating the bank after work. Couldn't get bit on the swimbaits so i picked up my frog rod at sundown and put in work. Fish swiped the frog after ...more i walked it threw some pad edges and paused it. Seeing em hammer the frog and then towing em out the weeds never gets old !!

    1. Jbird_401 0
@tkotattoos it already gets hammered by people and it barely spits out fish lol. Around here the ponds that are easy to park and walk up to get crowded. Last saturday ...more i was elbow to elbow lol
    2. Tim Knecht 0
Not trying to give that spot away? Haha
