      I haven't tried that exact model, but I own a catmaxx, and I love it. I have never had issues with it and have pulled multiple double digit fish in with it.

    I was tight lining at western lake and caught a 20 inch and 14 inch black drum then caught a 15 inch redfish. At high tide the gulf runs into the lake so it's ...more brackish water. I caught large mouth and some drum

      They have a bunch of different names here I hear Goggle eye/ / Warmouth back home we used to call them rock bass and have heard them called shadow bass

      Don't hold fish horizontally when lipping them, if you do it support its body with your other hand.. I'm not sure it might be a rock bass.
