Caught this 7-8 lb spawner last weekend. Probably my new pb. Fished the got em coach real gill, reeling very slowly, and got whacked fishing right off a floating ...more dock and an adjacent weed line on the shore. Gear was 8" Phenix m1 H, and okuma Citrix 364 w 20 lb pline copolymer. Hopefully I can top this fish this year and get that double digit!

Details: Largemouth Bass with a Xcalibur xr50
Decent bass I caught last weekend on the lipless. Slow day went out for 2 hours only caught one but it was around 3 pounds. Fishin the lipless slow along bottom ...more letting it sink to the bottom and reeling slow along with occasional rips off the bottom. Fish are not really active and the water is getting a lot cooler. Gettin a swimbait setup soon and am hoping to get some Bigguns in the near future.

Biggest spot of my trip to lake Chatuge, caught this one in 40 feet over rocks, fish were suspended. Our other fish came off crankbait over rock in 10-15 feet by ...more docks, one more Sammy fish over 40 feet and a Sammy fish in 10 feet over rock by a dock and one off dropshot roboworm in 10-15 feet by a dock. Wind was brutal but had a good trip, first time out on a major reservoir in GA in a long time!
