    This is the California Marine State fish the garibaldi. Used a dropshot set up to keep the bait suspended in the zone. Garibaldi are found over rocky shorelines ...more and kelp beds. The guys are bulldog fighters pulling drag even this small! You can typically find them around the base of pier pilings during high tide munching on muscles that come loose.

    There were so any terns working it was incredible. The fish were crashing on sardines. I casted into area the birds where they were crashing and immediately got ...more picked up. I let the fish run for 3 secs then slammed it into gear. When fishing offshore "wind in your face your In The right place wind at your back no fish in your sack." You want you baits to go with the current and away from the boat.
