  6. 36" northern pike caught on a tip up Twin Lakes Wisconsin. I went back to the place where I pulled my first Northern pike thru the ice and within a half hour ...more I saw the flag pop up and the reel was screaming!! I set the hook just as the reel ran out of line. When I pulled him thru the ice the line snapped on his teeth , he was only half way out of the hole but I grabbed under his gill and landed him . I released him but only this picture came out.. anyway tight lines

  7. I finally had ice thick enough on my trips last day to get out to the fish. The bites are very slight. I used a spring bobber to help detect them.
