1. I'm wondering if my weight is incorrect on that last bass I caught. Could y'all take a look and tell me? I'm thinking 3 1/2 pounds and unfortunately ...more I haven't caught enough bass to know much better

    2. f1zhn man 0
3.5 sounds right , are they out of spawn where your at ? Looks a little skinny in gut . Otherwise I'd say closer to 4 . appears to have the length for it .

    1. LMAO!!! Yep.
    2. Take the air pressure, divide by water temperature, add it's leg, that's definitely a 10lb bass
    3. Fishidy weight 7-10 lbs!!!! LOL

  2. I had the lure close enough I could see it in the water. Then, I let it sink. This bad boy came up so fast I didn’t know what was happening until luckily, he hooked ...more himself! It’s always fun to watch them up close. Tied for my personal best

3 lb. 8 oz. Largemouth Bass with a red and black worm

    1. Thanks! This one didn't feel heavier than my last two that were 2,10 but it definitely appeared bigger

  3. This one had given me quite a fight. Sometimes the littler ones fight harder

Look at my post's and see the damage this rig does. ..
  6. Hmmm... you ever consider retiring from bass fishing because you can't seem to figure it out and catch anything?

    1. Wacky rigged worms work great ....cast and pop the rod a few times and pay attention to the line ... it moves a fish has it

Keep trying different things, eventually you will find what works for you

  7. Anyone on here ever fished Lake Limestone? Is there good bank fishing access?

    1. Oh really? Thanks for the info haha. And those two are MUCH closer to me
    2. Wade Bowles 0
Lake lime stone is good fishing when the water levels up, which is rare. Because there a small lake and sell their water you'll more often find you can walk ...more out where water should be. When it's down there's really no place for public fishing. The only ones that have access to the deeper water or the residence who are lakefront on the back of the lake. If you just want to fish a smaller Lake on that north west side I'd try Lake Somerville or Lake Fayetteville

  8. Alright everyone, for those that have fished in Texas a lot and/or live here, I need HELP. I live in the Montgomery county area, and I feel like at this point, all ...more I'm doing is practicing bass fishing. There are not many good ponds around here, I'm assuming they're overfished. And I haven't had much luck on Lake Conroe. I would prefer to not drive 4+ hours to a good lake for bass. I have tons of different baits I use plus live bait, but it's just not working. What can I do and where can I go that isn't too far?

    1. Hey Wade, I live in Old Magnolia, edge of Hockley, just past 1774! Didn't realize you were close to me haha. And yeah it's possible. I've considered ...more a guide. Literally everytime I go bass fishing, every one else is catching one and I'm not, I think I have a bad vibe and the fish run lmao
    2. Wade Bowles 0
I live in magnolia and fish Conroe often. We used to own Lochness marina just north of 1097 bridge. Conroe is world class bass fishing when it's good. It's ...more all about knowing the spots and the right bait for the conditions. I feel like the further north you go the better fishing. I personally like to fish all around cagel park by 1374 bridge. You could be doing everything right and just skunking out. I went on about a year dry spell where I couldn't catch anything no matter where I fished. I recommend getting a guide to take you out a few times to show you some spots. I've found many guides are happy to tour you the good spots. I'm sure they hold on to there best honey holes. Good luck out there!

I fish around the Dallas / Fort Worth area a lot and absolutely swear by lake fork near Quitman or Sam Rayburn but again that's about 3 hours for you from Conroe ...more . Those are my go to big bass lakes and I live in Iowa so it's a 13 hour drive for me lol

    1. they'll eat worms too
    2. J Fisher 0
Look into "boilies". The Europeans carp fishing stuff will blow your mind.
