  4. Does this sound familiar to my fellow fishermen living in the north? Reels cleaned, oiled and respooled. Tackle organized and reorganized for the 10th time. Spring ...more please come early this year!

    1. T Sen 0
sounds more like me in central Ky. A little too cold to unwinterize the boat, no ice to go ice fishing. Been teased by mother nature at the end of Dec. with low ...more to mid 60's......😒
    2. Jared Troyer 0
Thanks for rubbing it in Capt Morris. :) Lol.
    3. Tyler Satoski 0

    6. Jared Troyer 0
Same in Ohio Robert. Cold weather just set in. I'm fairly new to fishing and don't have ice fishing gear yet. Am planning to get some in the next few weeks ...more and try to learn it. :) Hope you catch more then you dreamed of. :)
    7. Robert Coleman 0
Exactly Jared..... but the cold is finally here in southern Iowa! Working on the ice fishing gear today! By next weekend, we'll have good ice everywhere! πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»

  5. Reflecting back over the last two years of fishing....so thankful to my Uncle for introducing me to this hobby. Growing up my Dad took us fishing once every few ...more years at a farm pond but I was just a fair weather fisherman. Two years ago while going through a very difficult time in life, an Uncle who is an expert fisherman invited me to go with him for a day. I didn't land many fish but for some reason I got hooked in a big way. I've learned so much from so many great people, videos and magazines in this short time but still consider myself an amateur. My pile of gear went from one cheep rod to a pile of good equipment. :) I hope to enjoy many more years chasing big ones in many different places. Here are some highlights from the last two years....most of which I credit to luck vs skill. :) Thanking God for making fish! Three biggest ones were.... 10 lb 14 oz - 27" - Florida 5.4 lb - 24" - Ohio 5.24 lb - 22" - Ohio Center picture - didn't get meas. Happy fishing and tight lines to all in the following year!

  6. I have never caught a fish before that jumped like this little thing. There was one jump that must have been 2'-3' out of the water. One of the sweetest ...more fights with a fish I've had.
