    finished the jon boat build! me the wife and our daughter took it out this evening for a test run and it feels great. hard work pays off especially involving a passion.

    sealed all the wood and put the carpet on. got the storage built too. installed the trolling motor and i think im gonna get some new seats as well. lots of work ...more today!

    update on the job boat build. took all the old stuff out and pressure washed it. put a coating of sealant on the bottom and sides on the inside then started the ...more framework for the deck. gonna seal the wood with thompson water seal tomorrow hopefully.

    rebuilding the jon boat! my dad made the small casting deck and the plywood for the seats along with the electrical box for the 2 batterys about 15 years ago. time ...more to give it some tlc. gonna make a larger casting deck and give the inside a new coating.
