that's a large mouth, with very light coloring.. at least that's how it appears to me. lol. could be wrong though.. either way great catch.

Had a great day! Aston was feeling better so we headed out about 11 and found some great new spots, picnic lunched in the shade under a bridge, explored some trails ...more and tried three new fishing holes. Finished up with a trip to Academy for some new gear. I didnt catch even a nibble, Aston only one. Greatest day fishing I've ever had!!

Happy Thanksgiving to all you out there. Woke early and hit a couple spots while my little man slept at home (little sicky). Caught a few little Channel cats and ...more had one REALLY nice one slip off just as I was getting him to shore. The little man's feeling a bit better so tomorrow we are shooting over to the Bayou and going to try our luck. Great fishing everyone!
